The DREAM trip that totally delivered!!! Had an absolute fabulous time diving with great whites at Guadalupe Island. So good we booked a second trip! Plenty of cage time with amazing photo opportunities. When not in cage ---on deck was fun too. Able to help make chum and cannon shoot it. Treats, snacks, and food delicious. Accommodations adequate. I would have stayed for a month if I could have. The trip over is long but SO worth it. Doc has been doing this trip for years. He knows his stuff and is so knowledgeable. PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT! I have no suggestions for improvement. From boarding to departure everything was taken care of. We had an exciting dive where a great white put his nose in cage---thrilling!!!! The crew immediately knew what to do. Safety was at the center of the entire week and that cage was pulled because it was bent. No one complained. It was such an exciting week. For more excitement we witnessed a great white shark breach, and filmed a great white eat a blue shark in three quick bites. This is an easy dive if you can handle the excitement. We also did the San Benedicto and Socorro trip. Dolphins and a humpback mother and calf were the highlights. Felt like a freight train passed by, Awesome!!! I went on my first shark diving trip with Doc in 2001 to see blue and mako sharks off San Diego. In 2011, I was once again traveling with San Diego Shark Diving, but this time my wife and I went to Isla Holbox to snorkel with whale sharks. It was an amazing experience, and before we knew it, we were booking for another trip in 2012 to see great white sharks off Guadalupe Island (and we brought a close friend with us this time). Doc places an emphasis on safety and runs a fun operation. He also really seems to care about the conservation of the animals his business depends on. I hope some day to plan a fourth trip to see more sharks with Doc (and hopefully bring even more...
