Cafe Nordstrom — Restaurant in San Diego

It was delicious, and everything I expected it to be. When my sister took me here, I was very confused. I was like "You really want to eat at a restaurant in a clothing store?" Well, I was blown away by how high quality, fancy, delicious it was. I'm personally not a fan of spinach, but it blended so well with the Filet Mignon and potatoes. I was absolutely disgusted to find what appeared to be a bitten fingernail in my tomato soup. The manager was kind and understanding, acknowledging that this was unacceptable and offering a full refund. However, after taking the item to inspect it, they returned and claimed it was a piece of onion skin. I’ll let you decide based on the photo.

On top of that, the silverware was filthy—we had to ask for plastic spoons. I won’t be coming back here and would much rather eat...

Had the worst experience here. Been coming here for over 20 years. This place has gone down hill. The absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. The manager Lizette and waitress Amanda have the nastiest attitudes. The couple tables around us were also disturbed by how they handled the whole situation. Nordstrom cafe you need to reevaluate the staff. I won’t be coming here...
