I was visiting out of town, not prepared for the chilly SF weather. But, I had already wanted to check out some vintage clothing scene here. Although I did not make it to some of the higher rated ones around the city, I did walk into four stores along Valencia Street: Rare Vintage Finds, Valencia Street Vintage, Big Time Vintage, and Afterlife Collective. Afterlife won hands down for the great setup and flow of the store, lots of clothes options but organized, had a clean vintage vibe going on and the staff were really kind and friendly. Found a really cool, red, Free People jacket for $52. One of those purchases I feel great about, wear it all the time, has a stylish yet vintage flare to it, and it kept me a warm the rest of the trip. The other vintage stores either did not have much clothes or the layout of the store was just meh and not as much unique items that I could see. Valencia Street Vintage in particular did not have a lot to offer...

Great selection of vintage items. I found great sweaters but I couldn’t get myself to pay that much for them. The store has curated a nice selection. I believe there are different vendors so pricing varies. If you are willing to splurge you can find unique items here for sure!
