Great experience here and one of the more reasonably priced sushi places. Lots of seating available indoors and outdoors - did a thorough check for indoor dining of proof of vaccine and IDs, tables were socially distant. It was fairly busy on a weeknight which I took as a good sign. Ordered the sushi dinner plate and it came with a variety of maki rolls (California 6pcs and cooked salmon+avocado 6pcs) along with 6 pieces of nigiri (salmon, tuna, shrimp, eel, and I believe 2 additional fattier cuts of tuna) in addition to a salad and miso soup all for roughly $20 which was a pretty good deal. Ordered an additional toro nigiri (tuna belly) and uni nigiri, each at roughly $7 for 2 pieces. There was sake hot/cold on the menu some beers and plum wine. Plum wine was great, it was nice a sweet. The food was nice and fresh, definitely good quality and worth the wait. The waiters were prompt and friendly, often apologizing for the wait and even gave our table a seaweed salad on the house for the wait. Was so hungry that I unfortunately didn't take any photos. But note all the nigiri pieces on the sushi plate had wasabi in them. Would...
Read moreI absolutely loved this place! It has such a homey vibe. After a tough pandemic, this sushi spot opened up again a few months ago. Right now it's only the husband and wife running the restaurant. And they only have a limited menu of sushi.
My friend and I walked in on a Friday night and sat right at the sushi bar where the husband served us sushi one by one omakase style. It wasn't a omakase but we told him that we didn't care what he served us so he just made us some of his favorites. We had a variety of fish including toro, unagi, and uni. My favorite was hands down the uni. It was from Baja California and just so creamy. The bill for over 10 pieces of sushi each for me and my friend and 2 rolls was $100. I felt like I got a deal because usually I pay over $100 for just me. Definitely coming back here. Please go support them. They're a small mom and pop just trying to make it work during a seriously tough year. And they really...
Read moreSelection is poor, quality of the sea food is substandard, actually pathetic and disgusting and way overpriced. Twenty years ago, this place was acceptable. They use lo-grade frozen Tuna and the Octopus is nasty, Sushi to me, is Fresh Sea Food and high quality, I would "NOT" even feed a stray Cat with the Garbage they serve, seriously it's that bad, beware and good luck finding a real Sushi Restaurant especially in this City and finding one that's ran by real Japanese humans, not Chinese or Mexican owned and operated. By the way this five star rating on this site is sad, they use the word, "Hate" for the one star rating, they should use the words like, highly dislike or nasty, the word "Hate" is extremely questionable, especially in this City!!! Eat at your own "risk" you've been warned....
