Went to see Fiji Blue at this venue and they were amazing to say the least. Small and intimate venue that is almost like a medium sized bar with a stage.
Unfortunately, some weird interactions and technical sound issues made the experience.... Eh. First off, had a friend that bought tickets at the door and was charged $30 vs listed "$20 at door" on their website. When inquired about that, the doorman/owner said verbatim "this is my show, I'll charge what I want. Cash only." We weren't going to say no but left a very bad taste. If you want to charge more, should of communicated that before hand.
When the show started, both opener and main artist had technical issues with guitar reverb, buzzing, and cut outs during the show. Poor setup from the venues staff is disappointing to say the least. The show itself was amazing because despite the technical issues, the venue is so small that it kinda didn't matter? The buzzing just became an annoyance.
Also very odd but theres a rule where anyone under 21 hast to pay extra for a "non-alcoholic drink of 5/7 dollars" and under 21 folks don't get in and out privileges. I'm over 21 but that's such an odd rule? Something that should be known before even buying a ticket here.
Overall, if someone interesting is playing here, I will still begrudgingly go but I do not...
Read moreGreat intimate venue, only offers beer, seltzer & bottled/canned soda at the bar. They are in collaboration with the restaurant next door to provide food to the attendees. The QR Code was not working so we had to go outside to can the restaurant's QR Code or go into the restaurant to order. They offered pick up and delivery but the delivery was tricky once the show was starting, I could tell it was kind of hard for them to recognize the right people for the order. My friend and I picked up our orders. The food was good but a little pricey for the options they had. I got the Asian inspired wings and my friend got the Fried Chicken sandwich. The wings were well cooked and fresh, it was tastey but more spicy than what I was expecting. The manager at the venue was accommodating regarding reserving seats. It is a standing venue unless you reserve a seat. Unfortunately there was two tables that were reserved but other people who hadn't reserved them were sitting there and it was never corrected. Overall though, I would go back to see my favorites artists and continue to support them. It was fun and not too crowded and...

First of as a bar. Great selection. Prices are surprising low for the area. Very little seating but it is a music venue so that's expected.
As a venue the sound is pretty good. The low end is a bit lacking and you cant feel it unless your very close to the stage. Stage lighting is the standard affair. If you have a guy that knows how to run it it will go great for you. The sound guys are pretty good and wonderfully easy to talk to. Booking shows is pretty easy but due to the location getting people there is difficult. The Booker takes great photos and video of all the acts tho as of january 2020. So that's a giant plus.
The rumors about the managment are now outdated (quick synopsis. The last manager didnt pay out people. This has been remedied. But again getting people here is kinda hard).
Overall as a place I'd like to play another show there but it's not on my list of go tos like bottom of the hill or...
