As someone who recently worked with Mohamad at the San Francisco Audi dealership, I can honestly say that it was a great pleasure. We specifically went in looking for a pre-owned Q5, and Mohamad's extensive knowledge of the car, having personally owned several Q5s and a Q7, was incredibly helpful. He was patient with us as we explored different vehicles and took the time to review each car's specifications and details.
During our time with Mohamad, he brought up Audi's great leasing program as more and more clients prefer leasing over buying to minimize the hassle of maintaining a car in the long-term. While neither my fiance nor I were familiar with leasing a car, I appreciated that Mohamad brought up the benefits of leasing without pushing it onto us. He respectfully waited for us to ask to learn more about leasing and then patiently explained every single detail to us. We spent four hours with Mohamad that afternoon, and he gave us the time and space to discuss our options privately when needed. In the end, we decided to lease a Q5 instead of purchasing a pre-owned one, which I never would have guessed when I first stepped into Audi that day. We are absolutely elated with our new car!
As a customer, I appreciate when salespeople act as advisors rather than just trying to make a sale, and Mohamad at the San Francisco Audi dealership was the perfect example of a great car advisor. He took the time to show us all of the features, detailed information, and options for the pre-owned Q5 we were interested in, without pushing us to make a purchase. Instead, he allowed us to weigh our options and make the best decision for ourselves. It was truly a pleasure working with him.
On a side note, my only suggestion for improvement would be for the dealership to offer better refreshments for customers. Currently, the only option available is a water fountain, which is reminiscent of the ones you see on high school campuses where you have to bend over and push a button to drink water. At the very least, it would be nice to have a water station where customers can drink from a cup. Coffee and tea shouldn't cost that much for the dealership to offer afterall. Overall, my experience at San Francisco Audi was excellent, and we're thrilled with our new car thanks to...
Read moreBuying a car can be a daunting, excruciating, frustrating, and at times...a stressful experience. Ours, thankfully...was not. My husband and I spent the past 6 months searching for our next car. We test drove about 8 different cars, exchanged business cards with annoying salesmen, and had many conversations about what we were really looking for.
In the end we went with the 2019 Audi A4. Price was right, amenities were top notch, technology was up-to-date and the final kicker...our purchasing experience was AMAZING! It can be stressful when you think about haggling back and forth with a salesperson who then goes to his finance guy and you do this back and forth a few times till you reach a final price. (normally)
We worked with Christian and David at Audi San Francisco and left happy customers. More than that...it felt like we left with new FRIENDS! ha! They knew our concerns and what we were willing to compromise on. They got creative in how we both could reach a mutual agreement where both parties felt fair was fair. These guys were AWESOME! They were extremely professional and dedicated to our needs. We NEVER felt pressure or any negativity from either of them. There was definitely a sense of trust that you don't usually get when you work with car salesmen.
We can't recommend Audi San Francisco more. (I would give them 10 stars if I could!) Other dealerships we went to were either too pushy or completely oblivious to our existence. David and Christian answered every single question that we fired at them with professionalism and complete competency. They really know their S$%@ !!! (seriously)
So if you're looking for a new car or better yet....for amazing service and a fair deal...RUN, don't walk to Audi SF. :) (you might just leave with...
Read moreThis is a review of the service department.
Unresponsive service department.
The main reason I am writing this review is that this Audi service department wasted my time because we should have dealt with determining a warranty issue by phone and saved me the time of driving into the shop. My phone message was never returned - even though Audi's voice mail said they would get back promptly. Their online scheduling app on the website even has a box to check requesting a call prior to the appointment, which I checked and still not response.
Secondary issue is this dealerships determination of warranty issue. Rear view mirror electronics on my 2015 Q5 (still under warranty) stopped working. Called to schedule appointment and left message. No one called back. Scheduled online and asked to be called back prior to appt and did not receive a call. Showed up for appointment and service manager told me that since I had windshield replaced, warranty will likely not cover repair. Will charge a $205 fee to diagnose issue. Did not even ask me if mirror worked after windshield repair.
I am traveling around the country with this car and have had service and warranty issues addressed at three other Audi dealerships in Brookline, MA; Annapolis, MD; and Colorado Springs. All of these dealers answered my calls directly or called me back within an hour to discuss the issues. None of them questioned the circumstances of the warranty issue nor required a conditional...
