Alright so I started at one star smh. Honestly, the manager or boss with the glasses and long hair is a Diva that you don’t want to approach asking for a loan. Sometimes when the wrong men get into power, they exploit it. He is unreasonable and will upset you in order to exert his dominance. He will call the police and have you arrested. Simply put; the little man has that little man syndrome.

But then I thought, I actually think this is a solid shop. They are the typical pawn shop honestly, and open on Sunday.(my reason for upgrading to 2 Stars haha). Plus, without the manager there, things go pretty smoothly and the workers are very responsive, respectful, and nice once you’ve built a positive rapport.

Nevertheless, they are cheap and very tight pocketed with loans. The caveat to this is they’re very generous if buying and reducing/negotiating price drops. Id go down a block to Best Collateral Loans or even Liberal Pawn and Loans before even trying this place. Even better suggestion for gold, go to Maxferd Jewelry! because I can guarantee you that the manager will short you at Pawn Loan &Sell lol; you will not, you will not, you will not get anything close to the value.

A running joke around the area, “Take your gold to Pawn Loan and Sell, they’ll off you 80$ for your 15gram 14k gold chain/no diamond (solid) no cuts. Take that same chain to Maxferds and they’ll offer you 225$, clean it, carefully authentic in front of you lol, and have trusted staff to secure your loan.” Id be cautious with things of value at Pawn Loan & Sell, considering the manager has such a vendetta out against the world lol. It’d be a shame to let that little man get under your skin and I’ve JUST forewarned everyone haha. Go to him with an open heart, a smile, and be willing to beg lol. I’ve noticed he enjoys when a few tears drop.

Whelp, after rereading my review, I’ve decided to upgrade to 3 Stars! I feel this is fair. They are not the best, but they are open on Sundays lol. That’s like, unheard of. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! They have no idea what they're doing. I spoke with someone on the phone prior to my visit at the store to make sure they valued diamonds etc.. Upon arriving to the store, my husband handed the two gentlemen behind the counter his grandmothers diamond from her engagement ring to have appraised and they came back and said "they couldn't take it because it was a lab grown moissanite". This is absolutely incorrect as this diamond has been appraised not once, not twice but three times in the prior years. We immediately went and got three more appraisals directly after we left Buy Sell Loan and all three places laughed at the idea that this diamond was a moisannite. The diamond was in fact real and all three places, all accredited diamond buyers all wanted to take it off our hands as it was a diamond from the 1940's and in incredible condition. How insulting that a "diamond buyer" wouldn't have the respect to make sure they weren't insulting a customer with their bogus lab created diamond. The manager LOST MY JEWELRY... I went in to extend my loan and instead he put extension under a different account.. placed an 8 where a 9 should have been... When i went to pay out my loan in full i realized i had paid for the wrong item... The manager who made the error was there and assured me they still had my item and it would take a week for them to retrieve it from storage.. i had vacation scheduled during this time so they assured me i would be returned the item upon returning... Almost a month later no call from them even tho i gave the manager my phone number... Come to find out he once again put the wrong number in and tried to blame all of this on his associate to which i reminded him it was all him...
