Still here after all these years! Many things have changed around here, but not Mi Tierra! They still have great produce. I miss living en la Mission. I spent most of my 20's on and around 16th Street drinking, carousing, and living mi vida loca.
It was good to see that SOME things DON'T change around here! When you consistently provide quality products and service, the lines will always wrap around to your door. A woman was kind enough to let me cut in front of her in line bc I only wanted to buy 1 đ bc it wound all the way around to the back of the store as it usually does on the weekend.
People are still kind. Quality hasn't suffered, and I will always return like a homing pigeon to roost....

Very accessible with the public transportation, busses, - 14, 49, 33, 22. BART, 16st. Store is very efficiently run by Adel, a vigorous yemanite man. There is a vast assortment of milk products from Latino countries. Castomers speak many languages, a lot of eastern Europeans, local Hispanic folks, many young professionals. Tip: Go and see what they have, and buy from that, rather than going in with a must-have list and being frustrated that the truck of fresh stuff had other crops.
Tip: Be mindful of fluctuating prices. Neighborhood chatter says the new management has been jerking prices up and down. Caveat emptor.
The staff are nice, and patient, and helpful.
