The rooms are beautifully designed, the puzzles challenging, and the staff friendly! What more could you ask for? And the venue/waiting room area is just gorgeous. We have successfully completed 3 rooms so far (the Lost City, 7 Deadly Sins, and the Mansion one) and the most challenging, for us, was the Deadly Sins room. Aesthetically speaking, we agreed that the Lost City and Mansion are lovely 😄 If you've never done an escape room, make sure that there are at least 3 to 4 of you participating to ensure for an optimal experience with all of the collaboration that needs to happen when solving the puzzles, etc. It would be difficult for just 1 or 2 ppl in our experience and take much more time and energy to complete. Have fun and support your local escape games!!

We played the Lost City room. It was awesome! We found the treasure and escaped right on time. The puzzles were smart, and the room looked great. Staff was super nice too. Highly recommend for a fun challenge with friends or family!

Madilyn and Lennon were the best they literally were so much help! It was our first time doing an escape room and it was so much fun! Can’t wait to come back!

I had the most terrible experience at Escapology at this location on 7/21/2025. I am not sure if this is a universal experience among the brand, but I hope HR or management gets ahold of this review to fix this issue.

It all started because we were late only two minutes. This young lady -- skinny, short in height, wearing a green-ish hat, and wavy curly dark hair (writing her description because I was unable to get her name) -- already greeted us with a negative attitude to let us know "you're late". I understand that we were late, but for us to greeted with an unwelcoming presence, we felt that we weren't welcomed here.

Then, as we started, the lady told us we wouldn't receive the full escape room time limit -- rightfully so. However, she then slams the door as if we had ruined her whole day. We disregarded it and got to working on the hard spent money on our large group escape room.

We started running into issues in the actual games, the tube was not working, etc. The worker from earlier comes in with an accusatory demeanor... "did you break it?!" Possibly this may be a common issue for people to easily break it so then she was quick to accuse us, but it felt wrong because the room itself was already bugging with issues. After fixing it, she then slams the door once again, shaking the whole room. I was frustrated at this point.

This entire experience, due to ONE worker, ruined our entire visit to 430 Bay St Escapology. I hope that one worker, although young and may have more to learn, is reprimanded for her unacceptable behavior.

We drove an entire 45 minute route from where we are from, which made this entire experience even more frustrating. For the time being, my group and I will not be attending...

Edit Dec 2023 - updating review after returning for a couple more rooms and having a really nice experience. . The staff here is really great – helpful and accommodating. Shoutout to Madeleine and the rest of the team for being so conscientious.

Murder Mansion is a really well-done room. Antidote is pretty fun but might be a bit simple for enthusiasts. We will be back to try 7 Deadly Sins!

Previous review: We did Narcos, and our experience was only ok. The place is beautiful and the room was well done, but there were multiple elements of the room that weren’t set correctly or were actually broken, meaning the game master needed to come in and fix things. It was hard to keep our flow going because things were clearly out of order or not working. We spent a really long time staring at a puzzle and getting nowhere, only to find out after that it didn’t matter (as that section of the room was broken.) Generally a game master will let you know to skip something if it can’t be in play due to technical issues.

We escaped but left feeling a bit like we’d wasted our money.

We got an email afterwards saying we didn’t escape but we definitely did within the time allotted, even with broken puzzles and misplaced pieces.

I’d be willing to come back and try another room as maybe this one was just an off night. It...

I must first say that the staff are really nice and the puzzles themselves are fun.

(Caution: judgemental stuff below from someone with a lot of escape room experience)

To me the production value is lower compared to the other escape rooms I've been to (I've been to 20+). I'm used to escape rooms that are designed and constructed in a way that make you feel like you are in a different world and really immerse in the story. For example, all the walls, floors and ceilings are sculpted, painted, aged, and fake walls opening, breaking, small entry way that makes you crawl through, rooms that looked like outside or looked like the inside of a Pyramid etc, and sometimes with live actors. Escapology's room that I went to looks more like a small office space with stuff in it, with white walls and office doors with minimal decorations. The whole time I was solving the puzzles, I didn't feel an urgency to escape and I wouldn't mind to just let the clock run out because I didn't feel as immersed in the story. I would recommend going to other escape room establishments as well if Escapology...
