We have been there twice so far and it is such an adventure. Great Japanese products and cultural experiences. This last time we tried some takoyaki and mochi donuts. We still have more there to explore as there is a whole other side to the mall we haven't been to and we are looking forward to it!

I’ve been coming to Japantown for a few years now and didn’t know there was a mall here. It’s a bit innocuous, you could easily miss it walking down the street. There’s a few restaurants and a bookstore, with a fair digital and collectable section, and a few tiny arcades. A nano taste of Tokyo.

With gifts & books upstairs, along with manga downstairs, then gelato next door & Maido Stationary upstairs then Maido gifts downstairs, that's just the beginning of all the fun there is to be had. I especially recommend the tea shop outside Maido gifts downstairs, in the center of the Center.

Never in my life have I felt racially profiled till I came here. Granted I was dancing a little while walking through the mall but I had one of the security guards following me as I was going through the center enjoying my time. I took out my headphones as it seemed like he had something to tell me and he told me to "keep on moving". Never in my entire life have I ever had this happen. He continued to follow me as I was checking out other stores. Mind you I bought two bluray dvds from from the bookstore in the center and have never done anything to anyone in my life. I honestly never felt so unsafe while going about my business shopping at stores. I don't know if I'll ever come back. Honestly my worst experience at a public...

I've been coming here for the whole time. I've lived in the Bay Area. Like other places. It has its ups and downs but right now its feeling very lively. Ashley, a great place to go on those rainy nights we've been having. Love the conveyor belt sushi places, Nijiya market and the various dessert places around. I do wish there was an update to the architecture including the restrooms. But overall it's a good place and I'm...

Very cramped spaces and very dark as well. Unfortunately, a lot of shops closed up. I wanted to live it, but just can't right now. Hoping for an economic and cultural comeback though. I would have loved to experience it with the true amazement, selection and superior customer service that you can...
