Jessi’s Nails & Spa — Local services in San Francisco

As another small business woman owner, I really wanted to support this new business. And I’ve given the new owner, Jessi, the opportunity to make it right, but she chose not to. First off, the prices more than doubled from the previous family owners. But the place looks great and I wanted to have my daughter (and me) have lovely, special nails for her wedding. We asked for a specific look based ab on her wedding colors which seemed ok, but one of the gel colors completely changed into a weird yellow color (was supposed to be pink) and looked really bad for the wedding. After the wedding, I went in to show them, they apologized and offered to redo ( not refund). I made appt and when I went in, they were overbooked(!) and they called Jessi who asked me to come next day the next day even though I had made appt. I couldn’t come next day, they gave me another not great manicure. I asked that Jessi call me so we could fix situation. That was a week ago. I have honestly never experienced such a lack of courtesy from any salon. And if it hadn’t been my daughter’s wedding, I probably wouldn’t even write this. Terribly...

Disappointed. They charge SO much money. I went in for a basic pedicure and it was over 60 bucks. Nothing special whatsoever and the result wasn’t even that great.. sort of chunky. They charge 10 bucks to take off old polish but they don’t warn you ahead of time.

I went to a nail place in Noe valley that did 100x better and they charged 30 bucks. They also didn’t charge to take off my old polish.

I went to get gel x manicure off and get a new color. The lady that helped me sanded down my nails to be paper thin and I told her on several occasions my nail bed felt on fire. My nail obviously broke because it was too thin. Two months of growing my nails and then this. This was about 60$.
