I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily and the amazing makeup she did! I am far too used to having to have my own products on shoots (because sadly, I can’t assume an MUA will have my shade) and so I can be a little wary. Emily immediately put me at ease with her humor, her amazing attention to detail, and her expansive kit with every shade under the sun. She used an airbrush technique on my skin that created the most flawless application I’d ever experienced. She provided examples of what she could do to enhance my makeup further - and she over-delivered. And just when I thought things couldn’t get better? They did. I have extremely oily skin, and I expected to be a shiny version of myself shortly after application - and I stayed matte for HOURS. The pretty committee was very easy to communicate and book for our special day! I found them online and i couldnt be happier.

Emily and Mayra were there for my makeup and hair trial and were there on my wedding day. It was nice knowing they were going to be there after the trial so the looked that was decided was going to be the same. They were friendly and professional to me and my bridal squad. After talking it seem they were part of the party, everyone enjoyed them!

they were able to do many styles of make of and hair types which is a plus. Makeup stayed on all night even after some crying and party sweating due to dancing all night.

I cannot recommend The Pretty Committee highly enough! I was absolutely thrilled with how my hair looked on my wedding day, and their prices were very reasonable compared to many other vendors I considered. Before booking, I asked to be paired with a stylist experienced with fine hair, and they certainly delivered. I was matched with Amber Lester-Riddle, who worked wonders with my hair, both for my trial and the big day.
