It's a shame I have to leave less than 5 stars here!!! But there's something weird going on with the ALDI that I go to..... Whenever I buy a name brand canned soup like Chunky or Dinty Moore,it seems watery and doesn't taste right for some reason(and I buy the same brands and varieties from Walmart that taste and appear to be completely normal),their fresh meat and produce are amazing, but I used to buy pepperoni slices in a decent sized pack there, frozen hamburger patties which were a 90%lean10%fat, and their flash frozen ahi tuna steaks and they don't seem to ever have them anymore....so I decided to try the 80%20% frozen burger patties(how much different could they be right?)and they were so disgusting I ended up just throwing them out after only using 2 or 3 patties out of the pack!!! The other thing I used to like was their variety of different SIMMS bitlong beef jerky and other meat products(such as the sliced pepperoni) a the quality(some of it had seemed to have gone bad and I had to throw away)and quantity literally took a complete nosedive in the past 6 months to the point that just around the same rate I began to lose intrest in purchasing them anymore the availability declined so sharply that I wasn't (as) disappointed, but I still miss seeing those products in my basket..๐๐ถ๐ These might be just isolated incidents from the specific ALDI I go to in San Jacinto and again I feel horrible giving anything but 5 stars because ALDI,is literally my favorite 'go to' place for healthy food at decent prices, the staff and cleanliness at ALDI is ALWAYS SECOND TO NONE but I truly hope this doesn't become a trend because I normaly hate grocery shopping in general but I've ALWAYS LOVE having an excuse to visit an ALDI'S!!!! I really hope I don't have to make do with another store altogether in the future because there are so few stores that I have had me impressed by the...
ย ย ย Read moreI am trying to figure out how this store gets a 4.5 rating. You come in and the first thing is the produce department. Variety is slim; not good for a person that knows how to cook. Quality is poor; again not good for a person that can cook. Have never heard of so many off brand products. I guess that if you don't mind buying a lower quality of product then this place is ok. No employees on the sales floor for customer service. Now you get to the checkout and there us a guy sitting on a stool and no customer service again. Bag it and if you are older or handicap, you are out of luck for a carryout; poor customer service. This is not a store for " one stop shopping "; due to lack of variety and quality, so you might as well just go to Stater Bros and get it all; clean store, customer service, quality, variety, and brands that you are familiar with. You may think that you are saving money, but in the end you are not. If you have to go from store to store to get your items, you are wasting gas and time. If you get low end low quality merchandise, then you will probably throw it away because it doesn't taste good or last as long after you prepare it. I was generous giving this store a 2...

My heart felt full walking in to the store only to immediately be met with pizza, pasta and alternative options like cauliflower pizza. Aldi has seriously improved since I've last been here! The store is still only provides basic items, so don't expect a large variety of produce, meats, etc.. Yet, rest assured they do have them if you need them! For a smaller store, it's well-stocked. Service is fine, I went and they only had one register open, however the guy at his post was trying to keep things flowing. Note, it can get pretty packed and busy. If you're not good with small spaces, it can also get slightly cramped! Personally, I think they need a self-checkout section so they can keep up with the times. Also, I'm not a fan of having to insert a quarter in my shopping cart just to use it! So bring your quarters! Other than that I recommend...
