I was very displeased with the trip. I had purchased an express trip for the return home that was suppose to get me to Downtown LA at 6AM, but I was crammed onto the earlier bus that was local. The workers hadn't even explained the situation to me and just yelled for me to get on rudely. Instead of being patient and answering questions, they said to "get on or get out, the choice is yours." I was infuriated that they said this despite the fact that I was simply asking for the situation as to why I could not ride in the bus I had already purchased a ticket for. On this new bus, they said I would arrive at 9AM, but during the ride they then said there would be a 50 minute delay and we wouldn't arrive until 10AM. At 10AM we were still far away from our stop and the bus broke down. We had to wait for an hour and the worker was impatient and treated us like prisoners. Finally at around 11AM we arrived at the destination. I was exhausted and angry from the rude and irresponsible service which I not once got a word of...
Read moreI ride the train to and from work and a quick tip I would offer would be to check the timetable to see which track to goto and that the train will stop at the stop that you're going to otherwise it can be a complicated transit station. If you use caltrain often, it would save you a lot of money to get a clipper card and put cash/8 ride/month passes on it at any Walgreens or the clipper machine at the station. With a monthly pass from the clipper machine or Walgreens, you do not need to tag on/off the first ride of the month however online monthly passes, you do. The cafe there is pretty convenient for a quick bite, I recommend the sausage breakfast burrito which would fill you up for a few hours. Cash only though. Another quick tip to caltrain riders is that they are very time-oriented for example, the train that gets there at 8:40 closes the doors and...
Read moreThe most humiliation I have encountered. I have crohns disease and need access to restrooms. At this station I was told I needed to provide proof that I am an amtrak customer and still the woman next to the locked bathroom told me she'd help me when she's done mopping. I looked around impatiently for another restroom and the woman who said she'd help me was minding the store and told me to ho to the counter. When I went to the counter the woman there told me she's not going to hear my request. So as not to wet my pants I raced to the nearest exit and relieved myself then I turned my head and security was filming me with his cell phone. I'm not going to be treated like this by a transportation service and will be contacting...
