The absolute worst experience during our Christmas holiday vacation to Puerto Rico. We booked our trip through Delta Vacation. We noticed that they were using Rico Sun Tours for the airport transfer from the airport to our hotel (Caribe Hilton). Therefore, we decided to book with them for an excursion to do ATV rides. We would soon realize this was a horrible decision. First, they were over an hour late to pick-up us from the airport. I mean we had our luggage from baggage claims and were the last ones from our flight waiting and they were an hour late. I definitely understand airport traffic, but when you have our flight information, then you know the expected time of arrival. However, we did not hold that against them. Instead it made me want to ensure I confirmed out pick-up time and reservation for the ATV the day before. Well, we called around 3pm today confirm our pick-up time for tomorrow and was told that even though we were booked and paid for that, they did not see a reservation. I waited while they stated they were going to look. I immediately contacted my credit card company, who confirmed we had paid the $300+ to the company for the ATV excursion. They never came back on the line after 27 mins. I then sent them an email forwarding my payment receipt and sharing my concerns. They finally called us back. They stated that there was a system error and that we do not have an ATV ride for tomorrow. Horrible experience...SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND BOOK WITH...
Read moreVery disappointed. The tour guide was very nice, but “El Yunque Rainforest” tour was not as advertised whatsoever, you can find the description copy and pasted below. First, it’s supposed to be 7 hours, but we returned a whole 2 earlier earlier than we were told. The most amount of time at any one location was spent at the nearby Luquillo beach (1.5 hours), NOT the rainforest. We probably made three to four 15-20 minutes stops in the rainforest, mostly walking on the roads we drove on, seeing sights that were just off to the side. We walked one trail that took 5 minutes and ended at a waterfall. Don’t get me wrong, the sights and waterfalls we did see were still pretty, but I paid $170 for two people for a 7 hour rainforest experience. Not a 3.5 hour rainforest experience and 1.5 hour at the beach. If I wanted that I would’ve booked a different tour. I will not use this company again.

Read moreMyself, wife, and daughter went on the rain forest tour -overall a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was awesome, and we all really appreciated the history that he provided about Puerto Rico. Friendly, professional, and down to earth our guide was, and we really appreciated the company’s flexibility around pick up options for the trip. Loved the last part of the trip hiking down to a river for a swim in the rain forest. Strongly recommend wearing comfortable shoes- as an army veteran I was glad I spent the money on military issue jungle boots. Overall wonderful experience and liked the stop we made at the end of our trip at a local beach and visited some local food establishments and bars- tons of fun. Just wish we had more time at these places and more time actually hiking through the rain forest- overall a wonderful experience with this company and our tour guide- we will be booking with them again in the future. Thanks...
