El Este — Local services in San Juan

It's probably the best Indian food in Puerto Rico but the bar is not very high here. The butter chicken and lamb kofta were good but needed salt, which was an easy add, and the chicken was just ok. Palak paneer was good but only a few pieces of paneer and the container was not very full compared to the other dishes. Mango lassi was really good.

We ordered 3 entrees and rice didn't come with any of them - for the price of the entree they should include rice. Also each order or naan is just one piece so it was $10 for 2 pieces of naan.

The person that brought the food out was very friendly and accommodating.

Overall it's good for an Indian craving but it's very expensive, especially considering there's no restaurant and just pick...

This is a take out only place that is operated out of a residence. Notes on the food- taste is like home cooking. Very tasty and flavorful. Not too creamy or heavy dishes that you see in restaurants. The butter chicken was perfectly spiced and not too sweet. Shahi paneer and dal tadka were really good. Our favorite was the palak chicken- perfectly spiced and so delicious. A few reasons why I did not give the 5 stars- we ordered 8 nans and all were burnt! Not crispy, but burnt! Also for the price of ~$20-24 per dish, the quantity of chicken and paneer was very little. Food: Ordered butter chicken, naan, dal tadka, rice. Everything was good except the taste of butter chicken - the gravy tasted something else - its does not taste like traditional and typical gravy. Dal tadka was very tasty but again do not expect typical taste we are used too :)

Location: This is a house with big white gates, its not a restaurant. It’s exactly opposite to the pink building/house.

Parking: This place has no parking lot, the street side parking is alway full.
