I tried to use my Ann Taylor credit card at The Loft in October 2016 but the sales lady was new and didn't know how to get the credit number to work, so I paid cash. A month later I got a bill from Ann Taylor saying I owed money on my Ann Taylor credit card. I called them, they said I had to file a report with Ann Taylor. I spent an hour or so and wrote the report. I explained what happened and that I had paid cash. They then filed I was late on my payment to all my credit reporting companies, my credit score dropped 100 points because of their screw up. I called again they said they would fix the mess-up. Yesterday, it's now April 2017, I received a letter stating I still owed money! I called again, they said AGAIN it has been taken care of. Update: a week later another bill came in the mail! Read moreI love the clothes at Ann Taylor and would shop at the San Marcos Outlet more often if it were not for the employees. I resist going to the store because I find the employees pushy and rude. I like to walk into a store, shop, and purchase without feeling pushed into buying anything, contributing, or opening an account. Even when I tell them at the register when they ask me to contibute that I give everything through my church , they proceed to try and get me to give them my coin change. In most of the outlet stores, I feel comfortable and am left alone. Not true for Ann Taylor. They would make a lot more money from me if I felt comfortable in their store.
