I believe this is a great concept. I feel that people are expecting too much given the obvious size of this IKEA. Food, snacks, drinks, cafeteria, etc...seriously just go to the larger location.(Live Oak). This is ideal for household items & still has the same feel as the larger location. Need dishes, utensils, bedding, light fixtures, outdoor furniture, a side table, etc. At very reasonable prices??? Then just go here. I can appreciate how a smaller store could be beneficial, but they need to call it “IKEA Basics” or something like that so people will now what they’re driving to.
This sucks! I drove here because it was closer to me than San Antonio. Now I have to drive to San Antonio anyway. What should have been a 35min drive has now turned into an hour and 15 minute drive with small children.
Seriously people, rename the store IKEA Basics...
