EDIT to previous review: Customer service response to my issues were EXCELLENT and timely. I received a gift card for my troubles and hope to use it again soon for my family. However, we will be going in personally this time and not ordering online for pick up. I think little things (like adding extra lettuce) are what bothered me, since our salads were a bit smaller than they should have been. And I can pick up my own "sides" (salsa) myself. However, I do appreciate the kindness of Freebirds corporate to "make things right", as customer service is their main goal! We will give it another try and I am sure things will go well! Thanks you Adam! Original post: Spent almost $100 (ordered online) and my mom picked it up. The super mega burritos were okay, but NO sides came with (as ordered in comments), NO mild sauce (as ordered in comments) and chips were small (ordered a LARGE bag of chips). The salad and bowls were lackluster (half filled), as MORE lettuce (one of our options) could have filled it up a bit more, considering they were around $10 each. I am stunned that I spent this much on food and annoyed that the food is bland, since we dont have any sauce or sides to go with it. Doubtful we will order here again. Money is tight and this was supposed to be a "treat" for my family...

I placed my order on the app. Shortly after I decided to call to make sure they put the sour cream inside and not on the side (and the hot sauces on the side). It went to the automation and then it seemed like they picked up and hung up. I was unsure if it was an accident so called back again. Same thing. Okay, well maybe theyāre super busy and itās hard to talk on the phone. I got to the drive-in window (there werenāt many people there), waited and then finally a dude came up and asked my name. I told him. I didnāt WANT to assume the sour cream would be in there and sauce on side butā¦I assumed. And you know what they say about assuming. Lol. I drove off and when I got back, checked. No hot sauce in there. No napkins. Bit into my burrito, no sour cream. Glad I paid almost a dollar more for that! And the burrito was pretty sloppily put together. Iāve had Freebirdās a bunch over the years (but not in San Marcos)- definitely worst burrito...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time ordering from here using the app. I placed for CURBSIDE and, yes, the app asked me for my vehicle's make, model, and color, and the bag's receipt specifies this information as well, so I was expecting them to bring it out to me. I sat in the designated parking space for a good 18 minutes or so before I called them. I happened to see them take a bag off of the IN-STORE PICK-UP shelf, after which they told me to use the drive-thru instead when I asked them to bring it to my car, and of course there were other people in line, so I had to wait even longer while my already prepared 15-20 minutes ago food got even colder. I have covid, so I couldn't go inside, but this also shouldn't have happened. It's bit of a mildly frustrating experience, but my food tasted all right in the end and the employees...
