First, I love how early they open. This is great for people to grab on their way to work and/or after an early workout. Second, the place is cute and you can tell they put a lot of work into the atmosphere but also the graphics for the menu/logo, very nice and I can appreciate it (coming from a marketing mind). On top of everything the man taking my order was humble, professional, and respectful. Unfortunately with all of these amazing qualities the shop charges a scary amount for a shake and a tea…in San Marcos. I understand the ins and outs of a business, but it looks like you are marketing to the young San Marcos crowd and charging them like the locals.

With that said- don’t let my review possibly deter you from trying this place out. At the end of the day it is a small business and I truly believe in...

I got the blueberry muffin shake and the açaí bowl. Both were really great and smoooooth. Just what I was hoping for. Not overly sweetened and the added protein is also what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back. They also have weekly specials, like $1 protein donuts on Tuesdays and $2 off protein waffles on Wednesdays and (I think) Sundays as well as student discounts on Thursdays - or maybe Friday, I can’t remember.

I got the #20 bob marley drink as recommended. Customer service was solid the worker and what I presume to be the owner were very attentive. Pricing is very high but I asked for a medium instead of the $10 large. Still came out over $8. Very bitter drink; I wish I was warned that beforehand as I expected a sweet refresher style beverage. May try again...
