Short version: Zach Gregory is the very best! 10/10, 5 stars, cut/color/treatment - this man knows what he is doing and you will enjoy the time you spend with him during your appointment.
Long version: Zach is a rare gem. I have gone through lots of hairstylists and different salons in my lifetime from many moves/life changes and Zach is truly one of a kind. From our very first haircut together I knew he was special! It’s rare that you find a hairstylist that checks all the boxes and Zach definitely does!
The first haircut I ever got from him, I was in a very fragile place in life and hadn’t had a haircut in over a year. Not only did he transform my hair but he uplifted my spirit during a time that I needed it most. His care and attention go beyond just hair, he has an energy about him that is truly special. I was also incredibly impressed with how well he cleaned it up while maintaining the length I wanted. My hair looked healthy and felt amazing!
Zach is VERY good at his craft, I have consistently at every single appt been impressed with his skill and talent. He always does an exceptional job! His professionalism and attention to detail ensure that you feel completely taken care of from start to finish. He’s truly invested in making sure you leave the salon feeling your absolute best!
Something at our appts I have noticed is how often other stylists come directly to him looking for advice or asking questions. You can tell that he is a natural leader and that the other stylists trust him. It’s pretty cool to witness someone shine in their profession like he does. I think we all feel more confident with Zach in the building!
He’s an excellent communicator! When I have questions I love that he explains things with such clarity and will show me what he’s talking about. I love that he is honest and will give me his professional opinion.
I genuinely love and look forward to our appointments and I’m always bummed when it’s time to leave. Zach has an energy about him that is bright and infectious. Hes like sunshine in a person and I leave every appointment feeling lighter and more excited about life!!
I am very VERY grateful to have found him. I feel incredibly lucky that he is my hair stylist!

Read moreUpdate: Lauren called me shortly after leaving this review to ask me to reconsider/this was not their typical experience. I learned it was Razeal’s first day alone after training and that wasn’t what they wanted my experience to be. I went in to have Lauren cut my hair. She was professional and on top of it! She cut my hair better than my expectations with fabulous bangs. I actually ran late and they still made the magic happen. I’m just very pleased with this fantastic cut and then great customer service after my not-great experience. I felt heard and received the cut I wanted. 5 stars!!!!
Previously: Went here once and had a decent hair cut. Nothing bad just didn’t thin it as much as I normally like but no biggie, I just planned to ask for more thinning next time. The issue came when I tried to reschedule my second appointment. Multiple people called me but I missed these calls. Someone texts me before I call back so I go ahead and text them to reschedule the appointment. Well apparently the staff changed in the middle of me texting because they became confused and I needed to correct them on the current situation. They offer times for reschedule and I say yes to one of those times. Hours later I get another call and they leave a voicemail saying I’ll be charged if I don’t reschedule my appt by 7pm today. So I call them to get it sorted and the staff who answered the phone had just one ounce of customer service. I gave the rundown of the situation, pretty annoyed that I have to do this a second time but the response to that is what is frustrating... just an ‘ummmm’. I asked her why I would be charged if I cancelled in advance and she just said ‘oh.’ And then I mentioned the continuous confusion and got another ‘oh.’ So then I asked to cancel my appointment in total since this has taken up too much time and I got an ‘okay.’ Razeal, the lady I spoke with, really could use work on her customer service because you lost...
Read moreI wish I never went to this hair salon. When I called to make my appointment, I asked for someone really experienced with coloring hair. The person they set me up with was actually pretty new (she was a jr stylist), with less than 3 years since graduating from hair school. She messed up my hair so bad. She didn’t follow what I told her I wanted, even after she repeated to me exactly what I wanted. The color looked awful and she sent me home looking like that anyway. When I got home and could look at it better (the lighting in the salon was not great) I realized how bad it was and called to make an appointment to have it fixed. This time I was set up with someone more experienced. She acted like she could fix my hair no problem. She made it worse. I understand color corrections are difficult, but if you don’t know what you’re doing/how to fix it then just admit it so I can go to someone who knows what they’re doing. I went to an Aveda salon next to have it fixed. It looked way better after that initial appointment but I am still having to go back a few more times to have it worked on (color corrections can’t always be completed in one visit). When I called the original salon to let the owner know how my hair turned out and that I was unhappy and wanted my money back, it took over a week to get ahold of her. Finally I got ahold of her and she was very rude and not understanding. She didn’t apologize for her stylists messing up my hair. And she refunded me the cost of the color, but didn’t give me back my tip. I just find the whole situation extremely unprofessional and I would highly recommend going to a salon like Aveda over this one.
