Welcome to Kiddie Land Clothing! The Rack use to be the best place to shop and I loved it. It reminded me of âElaineâs Basementâ in New York City and you just could not get any better than that. I have been there a couple of times in the last month or so and have been so disappointed in the selection of clothes and in the Customer Service. First of all, a person could not ask to be treated better. But, the past couple of times I have been in the store, itâs hard to find help, itâ hard to find anything for that matter, they use to have a well rounded demographic of clothing, not anymore, they cater to 6th graders and up, possibly to college. When I had been there, I found something that worked for the occasion and went to check out, which was utterly insane. The girl that checked me out, was to busy to engage me in conversation and she didnât say a word to me. She was to busy looking all over the place as though to find someone, totally disconnected. The second I was there, I found something and went to check out, the guy that checked me out, D. D., was to busy talking to the guy next to him to give me the time of day. He was walking around, back and forth as if to dance around the cash register. Didnât say hi, how are you, nothing! He was to busy with his friend next to him. I asked him a question and the argument was on. Since when, does a clerk argue with a Customer. He was rude, flipant, full of attitude and so disrespectful, I could hardly believe what was happening. The impeccable Customer Service is gone and so is the fantastic selection of clothing and the marvelous deals. And, so is...
Read moreI was in need of some boots for a trip! I went to this store Monday night and found a pair of Steve Madden boots that I loved. The issue was, there were 2 right boots for the size I needed. I searched up and down every aisle for almost 2 hours. I was sweating in my coat! My husband was furious. I eventually gave up and ask an associate if they found the boot during inventory or something, to call and let me know. I didnât receive a call. I went back to the store today becauseâŚwhy not! Maybe they organize the shoes and matched the boots. Not only was it not organized, the 2 right shoes werenât even there anymore in the 7.5. I ask a very sweet young lady (blonde long hair) if there was possible some shoes on hold, as I had left my number and asked for a call. She said there wasnât but she did see the single right shoe. Again, I went up and down the aisles searching for the left shoe. Ended up finding a size 7, that wouldâve been tight but I couldâve made it workâŚpainfully! The young lady helped me look as well. Up and down the aisles we both went. After about 30 minsâŚshe found the other 7.5 boot. I could have kissed her. I didnât get her name but THANK YOU!!! I really appreciated her taking the time to help me! I think I lost sleep the past 2 nights over those 2 right boots LOL. It just didnât sit right with me. Here are some screenshots of my husband getting the email that I bought more boots đ the dog is...
Read moreFor the first time ever, I approached by a retail worker and asked for my receipt under the pretense that I had shoplifted. I usually prefer to shop at the Sugarhouse location, because itâs the layout is better and it isnât cluttered like the Sandy location. However, I was meeting and friend to take her out to dinner for her birthday. I frequently shop at Nordstrom (and The Rack) and figured Iâd stop to get a few things while also using my rewards. I purchased a blouse, a candle and some Burberry perfume. I asked the cashier that handled my transaction where the fitting room was so that I could change into my top. After changing clothes, I proceeded to exit the store and walk to my vehicle. An employee chased me down, said that heâd noticed that I had changed clothes and that he would need to see my receipt to verify I had purchased what I was wearing. Not only was it embarrassing, it was highly inappropriate and unwarranted. I walked back into the store and asked to speak to a manager. She gave me what felt like such a disingenuous apology. I will never go into this...
