The first time we visited this store was two years ago when we were looking for Babiators sunglasses, which the Babiators website indicated they carried. Indeed, this store carried them. We purchased two pairs and went on our merry way.
I returned to the store this year to browse and purchase some gifts for family and friends. It seems they still stock a similar selection of items they did last time I was there, including Babiators childrenās sunglasses, which I highly recommend. Lots of interesting jewelry, knickknacks, some things for kids, cards, soaps, coasters, suncatchers... You get the picture. The store is a bit crowded for my taste, which can make shopping difficult because I constantly felt like I was in someone elseās way, but this may not bother other shoppers.
What did bother me was that I was interested in looking at some jewelry that would be perfect for a friend of mine. Both ladies behind the counter were busy with other customers and so I walked around the store and came back. They were still busy with the same two ladies so I stayed at the counter to wait for one of the employees to be available to help me. The items I was interested in were not priced, so I was hoping someone could explain the pricing and answer a question I had about the earrings. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored. When one of the employees at the counter finished helping one of the customers, rather than asking if I needed help, she started bumbling around with merchandise behind the counter. Thereās no way she didnāt see me. I was literally right in front of the counter looking at her. The other employee continued trying to sell some jewelry to the lady standing next to me. Not once did she say to me āIāll be with you in just a momentā or indicate in anyway that she was going to help me. I stood at the counter for at least 5-7 minutes without being acknowledged. I donāt know if itās because of my age (Iām not a retired snowbird) or because I donāt look āFancyā or what ā but I was prepared to spend money on gifts, that was the point of my shopping trip. Sadly, this store lost out on a sale.
Moral: Small shop loaded with little treasures, but be aware you may not get any service at the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I googled, "strongest catnip," online and after viewing other companies I saw Suncatchers and sent them an email requesting how many ounces was their, "loose catnip?" The owner (very nice at the time) emailed me back and said SIX ounces. He later forwarded me the store's phone number, and after speaking to him and him telling me it is the best catnip out there, and confirming that it was $5.00 for SIX ounces, I proceeded to give him my credit card information. I have to tell you, I received the catnip quickly, they do mail out your order quickly. Upon receiving it last night, I knew it was to light to be SIX OUNCES!!!! I pulled out my Weight Watchers scale and weighed it and it was LESS THAN ONE OUNCE!!! My cats didn't seem any more interested in it than what I purchase (over an ounce) in the store. I emailed the owner, Dan, whom in the beginning was very nice.... proceeded to tell me he "guessed the weight..." when I asked him. I told him the catnip wasn't any more interesting to my cats as the normal store brand was. I requested for a refund and I would send the catnip back. The owner, Dan told me, "... there must be something wrong with you..." and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!!! So there it is.... beware of this business owner... he doesn't back up his products and is down right NASTY if you question him or his merchandise. If you are looking at his company ONLINE move along... there are plenty of other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moredo not be fooled, this store charges and absolute outrageous price for complete junk. Not only that they are totally politically charged I can't walk anywhere in the store without seeing something Democratic or something that just simply has nothing to do with what I am shopping for. Even the kids section had extremely inappropriate mints and cards, my younger sisters could not even look at the toys without having to see the worst words available to the general public. I will not be...
