Calming – that’s the vibe you get from first entering Santa Fe Serenity Spa’s grounds. After you round the building at the back of the property, you will find the parking area for the spa. The courtyard is a dapple of sun and shade, and the breeze that wafted through the mature trees the day we were here was perfect. Past the wind chimes, flowers and rustic landscaping, you enter a quintessential, vintage Santa Fe style house. Ellen (the owner) was very hospitable, and DW said she got the best massage ever with a wide assortment of oils from which to choose. Afterward, there were some goodies to nibble, and some massage-related samples to take home. We were even able to take advantage of eating the lunch we brought from home at the courtyard table. What an amazing experience! So close to town center, but once you're there, you feel like you're at an Old Santa Fe house somewhere in the country -- beautiful little courtyard and porch, then greeted by sweet owner Ellen and the intoxicating smell of flowers everywhere. The spa, in a historic adobe, is both comfy and gorgeous, and meticulously spotless everywhere. THEN the massage -- OMG! Therapist Nancy gave me the best massage I've ever had (and I've had a lot, but this was my first hot-stone massage -- highly recommended; I felt like my muscles were melting into bliss). I live in Albuquerque, but I'll happily make the hour trip from now on for my massage needs (which I think are going to be more often, based on this first visit -- just because I want that feeling...

I had such a wonderful experience at Santa Fe serenity spa today! I treated myself to package number one with a lavender facial and 50 minute massage and added on a back treatment. Both of the therapists for absolutely superb. The aesthetician (I’m sorry i forgot her name) was marvelous. My skin feels so lovely now. The Massage Therapist Anne Aura (her name at birth) was truly exceptional and transported me to a state of total relaxation.
