Shocked by the service I just received here by the Lead sales Manager.
Around 2:00pm on 5/10/24 I went into See's candies hoping that I could purchase a mothers day gift quickly. Sadly what I encountered was far from the standard that See's candies has had for many decades. I waited in line for about 10 minutes whilst one employee was helping the line and 5 others just sat around talking to a woman who was complaining about her schedule.
Finally I get help from the Lead sales manager who was very obviously annoyed to do his job or help any customer. I asked for a 1LB Box, and he instantly cut me off asking "What size?" with an aggressive tone. I reminded him that I asked for a 1LB. Making the selection was a nightmare as well. I told him I had a list and with a long sigh he said "Just tell me which one and we'll go down the list one at a time". About two chocolates into the selection he seem annoyed and frustrated. I made it easier for him and told him to just select any milk buttercreams and fillings. He could not do this either....
I honestly almost walked out due to the service but needed the gifts in a pinch.
Paying for the transaction was also stressful, when using two of my gift cards he yelled at me to not swipe them right away.
Would highly avoid this place and visit any other See's...

See's is my number one choice of chocolates but every time I go, I feel I have to walk on eggshells. My last visit was the last straw. I went in to buy gifts and she was out and out rude to me. I asked for a one lb. box and she thought I said 1/2 lb. When I saw the small box I said 'Oh no, I want a bigger box than that." She huffed and puffed while she switched the candies to a larger box. She never offered me a sample so when I asked for one, there was no reply. When I asked a second time, she said "If you ask one more time, you won't get one." I refused the sample and the gift wrap because I just wanted out of the store. As a woman' who has been in business over 40 years, I know how to treat my clients. What is wrong wtih See's Candy? Such an excellent product, but you need to train your staff. Unfortunately, I will not return to See's Candy in Santa...

When walking in hoping to buy a gift, there was already another customer in the store and the employee only greeted and voluntarily attended to her. When my dad inquired about pricing and types of chocolates, the employee rudely answered while laughing at him saying that theyāre just chocolates and made him feel stupid for asking. We then decided on a gift box with a lunar new year sleeve on it and the employee told us that we donāt ālook like we want the one with the sleeveā and we should just get a regular one, he then told my dad to put the customized one back and to grab a regular one. I feel as if we were mistreated and judged the entire time for just trying to get some help and inquire about the different...
