1 star because 0 isn’t an option. Also because we had an AMAZING sweet server (shoutout Jayda)!! After waiting for about 30 minutes, we had our other sever come over. Unfortunately, he was far too busy looking at his other table a few feet away and joking with them to focus on us to take our order. Ordered a vodka seltzer that they had an ad for throughout the restaurant - server said they didn’t have anything like it. Finally, I went to the bar and asked. Guy with a sublime tshirt (assuming head bartender) said they had 3 and asked which one I’d like. I told him the brand and said any flavor except melon considering they have a significant amount of juice and I’m highly allergic to melon (weird. I know). He told the other guy behind the bar only for him to come up to me and say that I couldn’t order from the bar since we had a sever. I let him know that we didn’t even have water from our server and I’d like to go ahead and grab a drink from the bar and cash out. No tab. He proceeded to tell me that there was no way that we didn’t have a server and I wasn’t allowed to order from the bar. Finally after my pushing back and him speaking to me like I was a 3 year old, the other bartender came over and said that I could have the drink that I wanted because he could see our table and we very clearly did not have anything. Thank God. Food was subpar, but I have to give a shout-out to the TWO (2) amazing people out of the entire staff. The great bartender mentioned also came up to us during our meal just to check and make sure we finally had service. Extremely disappointed considering this was supposed to be the best night (wine wednesday, locals night, and karaoke; who could go wrong?!) on our week long vacation, but lesson learned. Thanks for coming to my TED talk ✌🏼 And again, thank you Jayda and Sublime shirt dude, you guys were stellar and deserve a far better place to work than a place that requires 10% gratuity on every ticket no matter the party size or price of the ticket. Do...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews, and by checking my profile you will see I seldom do it. Where can I start.. just under a year ago my wife came here for the first time and were blown away. The quality of food was outstanding, prices were good, and there was attentive servers. We came back (had to take a $10 Uber there nonetheless) and were so excited to have some great pizza, but my, oh my, have things changed. I’m not sure if the ownership is different, but it was a complete 180 from last years experience.
To start, we walked in and heard a staff member audibly groan when he saw us. I would think a business would be eager to serve customers, but maybe he was having a rough night. They appeared to be closing (mind you, this was three hours prior to close) Ordered draft beer, told the draft system was not working- understandable- things happen. ordered a sweet tea, was told the tea was dumped out. Interesting, it was 3 hours prior to close. ordered a coke, got the coke and was asked “are you going to have another coke? I need to dump the cooler out if not” - it was still 2.5 hours before close mind you. got our pizza- which was not necessarily cold, but clearly was not hot. To which we were not given any plates to eat off of, so we continued to eat off the pan it was prepared in. Got the check, certainly was surprised. On top of the increase from our last visit we noticed the 20% automatic gratuity. I understand the purpose, and it is clearly marked- no debate there. But a minimum tip requires a minimum level of service, we were not even greeted with that unfortunately. FUBAR is right, worst experience in a long time for a relatively...
Read moreWent with a family of 6. We all ordered at the same time. We asked specific questions and ordered accordingly. The food trickled in one at a time and 2 orders were wrong and one never came. After 5 of the 6 people finished thier meal I canceled my order. The waitress was unapologetic. When the bill came we were charged for sides that were supposed to be included (and specified before ordering) and we're charged for bacon on a club sandwich! WHICH WE ORIGINALLY REQUESTED FOR NO BACON. We asked the waitress what was happening and she went to talk to the manager. Well, then manger showed up and asked if we ate the sides we were being charged for. We said yes, because we were under the assumption that it was included. The man had the audacity to say that he was sorry for the misunderstanding but because we ate the side were going to be charged. I had enough at this point. I Said to him that, first, I never received my order! How was that acceptable?! It was a Italian sandwich for damn sakes! Second, we asked for clarity before ordering to make sure the side of fries was included in the kids meal. The waitress, infront of the manager, admitted to saying yes. I asked him, from a mangers perspective, how was it OK for him to charge us? He acted confused and said he would "see what he could do." He came back and said he removed the charge for the fries and applied a "discount" for the bacon. A DISCOUNT FOR AN INGREDIENT THAT IS PART OF THE CLUB SANDWICH! Needless to say do not waste your money here. If I could give a zero starts I would....
