Play It Again Sports — Local services in Santa Rosa

I have been in the service industry for over 30 years and i was totally impressed with the customer service experience i recently had with the play it again sports store in santa rosa i think it may have been the best retail service i have ever experienced and it was totally unnecessary because i only spent $50.00 but these guys went waaaaaaay above and beyond to make sure i was satsfied. i was buying some weights and mentioned that i was looking for a treadmill belt for an older treadmill i had purchased years ago. the owner got online for me (after i had allready purchased the weights) and went to 3 different online sources to hunt down the belt. when he came out of his office with all the info after about 15 minutes, i didn't understand why he would take time away to help someone with a treadmill that was not even purchased through them! he said that he simply wanted to help me solve my problem. he also gave me a phone number for someone who would install it. i was paying attention to his employees as well and they were extremely knowledgeable and as helpful as i have ever seen in retail. this store will floor you with their service, knowledge, and professionalism. shop these guys and you will be...

Recently moved back to the area forced move needed some money call about some weights worth hundreds really into it tells me to bring them in. So I get them together it's not easy we're talking a few hundred pounds worth of weights and the stand plays some other baseball football golf gear show up said I'm here to sell some things before I could say I called the guy says oh sorry been to slow and I'm not buying anything right now. As anyone who does play it again knows three isn't a lot of them I drove 45 minutes to get to this play it again to be told this after the phone call was like ya bring it in. So I said weights aside cheaper stuff the reply is " oh were not buying anything not the weights just nothing" then take it off your website that your always buying I hope it wasn't a profiling thing on dudes behalf because they were buying a few things from some older white guy as I walked in. But he knew them bye first name like he's known them for a long time. All I was trying to do was make a few bucks for me and my boys and drove 45 minutes ti watch them purchase from some local guy but tell me there not...

These guys are awesome! Stopped in there looking for a wooden softball bat for an upcoming tournament, something that every other store in Santa Rosa DOESN'T have. Not only did they have one, but they had a few to choose from. The associate Manny was very helpful with my questions and sold me the bat for a good price, as well as other accessories. Later that day, I went to the park and used the bat for just 5 minutes and wouldn't you know, that same day the bat broke! Very disappointed, I came back the next day and let them know the situation about the bat, they understood, apologized and they were so willing to fix it, they gave me a new replacement bat with no hassle. I am a very satisfied customer and will be back, these guys have alot of great prices on new and used sports equipment and have the good service to go with that! I recommend them...
