My son is starting soccer, and I know nothing when it comes to gear. We walked in and were immediately greeted, and asked what we were looking for. I told them we needed cleats, shin guards, and a ball. Samuel helped us straight away. He helped size my son for cleats, and found a perfect fit on the first try. He even had my son run around a bit to make sure that his toes felt good. Then Samuel went and found shin guards of the appropriate size. Finally, he helped my son pick out a ball, then "topped off" the inflation level to the exact right amount, checking with a pressure gage. The whole experience took about 15-20 minutes. And it was perfect. I don't think I could have asked for better assistance. Samuel was perfect with my... exuberant 6 year old. He was helpful, and knew exactly what he was doing. And how to work with kids. Al's Sport Shop is going to be the place I go to for any and all sporting necessities, for the foreseeable future. After an extremely upsetting and frustrating customer service experience yesterday at a large chain, I did what I should have done in the beginning and went to Al's. My son was fitted for cleats and batting gloves by a wonderful and attentive young lady. Although the time spent with us amounted to only about 10 minutes, we never felt rushed or our needs felt to be inconvenient or unimportant. Yet another reminder to shop with independent and local retailers. This was not my first great experience at Al's and it certainly won't be the last. You...

Ordered a lettermans jacket before summertime 2022..was told the turnaround would be 4-6 weeks....not contact from store via call, text or email of status..now it's been over 12 weeks and still no jacket and no response on status as when will I get jacket...both wife and I called at separate & different times but to no avail they ALs Sport shop has no answers...and I still have NO jacket as of 8 / 31/ 22...seeking Full refund and taking...
