Just watched one of your vendors approach one of the most beautiful spirits this world could ever ask for as she graciously performed for your patrons and proceeded to tell her that the vendors were all mad that she was there singing and said that nobody wants her there. Wow. What has this world come to? Wondering why she continues to perform despite this unusual display of hate. What has this world come to when you are given a wonderful treat and you throw it in the face of everything that is wholesome and good. It makes me want to vomit but instead we will dance in this poor souls face. This world needs more people like Clara and you should pay her to perform every week and ask this vendor to find a place where she can thrive amongst the weeds. I love going here! We usually order our meat from Hunter online and pick it up at the farmers market Saturday so I know what I want will be there. I love Frali Gourmet! Lisa always has amazing food that never disappoints. Billy's botanicals always has great fish to choose from. There is a lady that sells tortillas and I can't eat store bought anymore, I'm a changed woman. There is a honey vendor thats from Savannah and its super yummy. The Farmers Market always has so many talented people bringing their best every Saturday. I could go on and on about them all bit we'd be here forever. I just moved to the area and was looking forward to checking out this famers' market but, unfortunately, I learned that Dr. Deidre Grimm was fired while on medical leave after seemingly increasing the market’s budget from $300,000 to $1.5 million during her time as executive director without giving her the respect of a reason. It seems that she was used for her labor and thrown aside without clear reason. Distasteful. I won't be spending a dime here until this is resolved and hope others think more about who they do...
