Terrible customer service. I went grocery shopping with my client, Tuesday (08/6/2024) around 4pm. Everything was fine, until it was time to check out. (Cash register number 7). I don’t remember her name but I think it might be Claudia. She didn’t acknowledge me at all, even when I asked her how her day was. The whole time I was talking to my client about making tacos. She had such a bad attitude towards me. When we were done paying, she handed the receipt to my client. (Remind you my client has dementia). I’m the one who has to save the receipts for the family. She said bye to him and not to me. Which I didn’t take it personal, but the whole time I felt uncomfortable. Two days later (08/08/24) my coworker took our client to do some grocery shopping. When she came across this awful lady again. This woman remembered my client and was asking my coworker about me. “Saying I’m such a bad person, that I mistreat my client, all kinds of horrible stuff, and she was going to report me to my agent.” I have no idea what was her problem at all. I take this as being judgmental and racist. She shouldn’t be working there, if that’s how she treats people. I also think she shouldn’t be discussing conversation to people about other’s personal life. It’s none of her business, especially making false statements. I will never come here again! She made me so uncomfortable and I never had an issue like this before. Definitely wouldn’t take my client back here for this type of behavior. And he loves this store. What a shame to hire someone...
Read moreBeware of Tina (very angry cashier) and the “manager” David Morrill: We are visiting from California for my daughter’s medical school white coat ceremony at UNE and came to this store for food/drinks for a party. It was me, grandma and two daughters (ages 22 and 26). My daughters are African-American. I paid but was refused to buy alcohol because my daughters did not have their identifications. I had my identification! I did not see anyone having their entire family asked to show identification nor do I see where that is a law in Maine (because it isn’t). It also was not posted anywhere inside or at the entrance of the store that alcohol sales are not allowed unless everyone under 30 shows identification- which is what David Morrill told us. How many people here have had their entire families carded to buy alcohol at this store?? It was not only ridiculous but disappointing that that was how we...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I went to the deli around 2:50pm on Jan 5th to get some sliced turkey and cheese. There were FOUR employees behind the counter and I was the only one in line. I waved to one of the employees and he put his his hand up gesturing I'll have to wait, he was having a personal conversation that was more important. The youngest employee behind the counter asked me what I wanted. I clearly explain my order, a grand total of two items, meat and cheese. I told him I'll back in a few minutes to shop some more while he cuts. I return several minutes later and he says, "I instantly forgot your order when you walked away." I told him to nevermind and I left the store. This location has the worst customer service. They can't even hire people capable of remembering a two item order....
