The Paper Store — Local services in Scarborough

Terrible and rude service. I asked about New Years cards - the New Years stuff was next to a big rack of 50 % items. The owner or manager stated “that’s the last one and are you gonna buy it?”. I asked if it was part of the sale and she stated “no” in a rude tone (I came in to get a card under 2.99 per monthly coupon but may have bought other things if the manager wasn’t so rude to me ..) while waiting in line, there were two people ahead. 5-10 mins I waited and then when it was my turn another worker started helping.. then the cashier couldn’t “find my number” - I even wrote it for her and come to find out it’s listed in the coupon sent to me… I left because she “couldn’t find it” so therefore couldn’t give me the rewards. I stated “That’s fine.. I’m pretty over this interaction..” but come to find out when going into my account to check the accuracy of my phone number it’s literally stated you can find the rewards number in the coupon e-mailed.. get it together, they’re rude and apparently also...

The Paper Store…does not actually sell paper. Went in looking for quality paper stock - the don’t have card stock, print stock (for photo printing, etc), construction paper, or even basic multipurpose printing paper. They do have a surprising small hallmark card section but wow.…so little paper for a store that is called the Paper Store. Lots of plastic junk made in China though that will be coming to a Maine...
