I went to this car wash one time, I paid for the one time use car wash and I went through and everything was fine. I came out and I was cleaning my car when the owner came out and stated he wasn’t pleased with the outcome of the wash and asked if I would go back through when I was done, I agreed and as I was cleaning out my car he was talking to me about the way they do business and that the way my car looked on the front wasn’t okay. I was happy with the fact that they paid such close attention and made sure their customers were happy. Let me start off by saying, I am not familiar with monthly car wash subscriptions. I had an old sticker in my windshield from when the dealership I bought my car from had taken it through another wash apparently. The owner asked me about the old sticker and I told him I had no idea when I had gotten it and that I needed to take it out. He then gave me a sticker to put in my windshield. I should’ve asked about the sticker but I just thought it was for future uses for when I paid to use their car wash, because like I said I am unfamiliar with car wash subscriptions as I don’t use them and never have. I just pay to use them on occasion. What they didn’t explain was that it was a sticker for a monthly subscription that they had signed me up for without my consent. Like I said, I should’ve asked about the sticker but I just never would’ve dreamed someone would have signed me up to a subscription service or that, that is even legal to do, without my consent. To my surprise, I was charged $45 a month later for a subscription that I had never agreed to and was never informed of. The crazy thing about it is, they used my debit card that I used to pay for the wash with. I would never agree to pay that amount of money for a car wash subscription. I called their customer service line and explained this to which they told me they would not refund my money the only thing they could do is apologize and cancel my membership. I had to get my bank involved to get my money back. I hope that anyone else reading this takes precautions when using this place because they certainly took advantage of me. They use “verbal agreements” for memberships which is incredibly shady and is obviously a scam. I will...

This place started out excellent when it first opened. The man that introduced himself as the owner was there regularly and the employees seemed to work hard. I have paid monthly for between 2-3 cars at $100-$150/month since shortly after this car wash opened. I have been very disappointed lately. These car washes don’t do great at cleaning bugs off the front of the vehicles or back windows which is why they either have buckets/brushes available for customers or they provide this service for you. I usually tip the employee that scrubs the front grill, side mirrors and back window/trunk. For several months now the employees barely use the brush at all and seem irritated to even offer the service. I’ve had 2-3 instances where they didn’t even use a brush at all. I will continue to be a monthly subscription customer here only until a new/better car wash is available in Scottsboro. 2 Stars because the auto car wash itself is nice and the vacuum area is always clean and stocked with window cleaner/rags. There have been times lately when the trash cans are so full that you can’t add anything to it but I understand they get very busy. It’s possible I caught them at a time when they didn’t have an opportunity to empty...

Pre wash soap only water on drivers side. Second overhead spinning brush does not touch car like it's supposed to. Cloths are wet which makes it hard to dry your car.

I have mentioned this to the workers and even sent an email. There has been no change. This is sad because of it only being a couple of years old.

I have been to some out of town and they are much better!

Edit February 2025: This place has gotten much worse!

Neither one of the windshield overhead spinning brushes work now. So if the employees don't get it cleaned when they are manually cleaning, the windshield will not get done.

Still not enough pre soap on drivers side at the beginning.

Tire shine maybe sprayed half of the tire in total. Its sprayed here and there. Looks horrible.

They are closed all the time when they are supposed to be open.

How about close this thing down and get everything fixed! Don't open back up until its all fixed as it should be. Then stay open when its supposed to be open.

How does this place continue to take out a members money monthly and not have it work the way its supposed to?

How does this place have 4.5 on reviews? Have these people never been to a Tidal Wave that actually...
