Two years ago, I came to this store when my phone crashed and had a very good experience. I don't remember the man's name who helped me, but I wish I did because I hate to leave a downright negative review anywhere and about anyone, but my experience today was horrible. Last night, the screen on my not-even-two-year-old iPhone stopped working (I know this is not AT&T's fault), so I decided to take my phone into the store to hopefully trade it in for a new one. I had a bit of a wait (not a problem), but when it was my turn to see someone, I was called over by a woman named Alicia. From the start, she seemed very rude and dismissive; I told her the situation, and she told me that she couldn't help me at all because I was not listed as a "primary" on the account (again, not a problem - my husband had to come in and provide his license). While I was waiting for my husband to arrive, I asked what my options might be and very rudely, she snipped a response of "I can't tell you anything until I can see your account." I then asked what iPhones were available and she acted very put-out by that question, because she had to go in the back and look to see what older models they had in-stock. When my husband arrived, he had multiple questions, including asking if she could drop his line, as he no longer uses that phone due to having a work phone. Again, she was extremely snippy for no reason at all, and quite rude to put it nicely. Alicia then told me that my best bet would be to follow a url, in which she wrote on a sticky note for me: "att.com/phoneclaims" since my phone was insured. She said that I would most likely be "overnighted a new phone" or that AT&T would come and fix mine. When I got home, I followed the url that she provided and it doesn't even exist - it said "Page Not Found", so I had to Google it and find it myself. My husband just put in the claim and of course, it's telling us our only option is to take the phone in to the provided store, which, of course, is an hour away from where we live. I have decided to take my phone to get fixed myself, at a local phone store that I have used before and trust wholeheartedly. As soon as I get my screen fixed, we will be dropping AT&T altogether and switching to T-Mobile, since the monthly cost is outrageous for the horrible service we have in our area in the first place, but also after having such a terrible experience in the store with Alicia. Such a waste of mine and my husbands' time, when she was nothing but RUDE and provided absolutely NO help. We have had ENOUGH of AT&T's terrible service and customer service. I don't believe that I've ever left a negative review, but this was complete insanity. My advice: steer clear of AT&T and definitely of Alicia at the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into att in scottsboro for them to set me up on a prepaid account. They asked for my social security number to make sure that I didnāt owe att any money. As the man employee was getting me set up the manager came and took over the entire project. As I was sitting there the manager kept asking me if I owned a business and a bunch of other questions. I answered not knowing that they were signing me up for a business account. Through the entire time I was in there the manager never once told me what he was doing. While I was sitting there he started bragging about setting up drug dealers on business accounts as pharmaceutical companies. And how he has done it many times. So a couple weeks pass and I get a bill in the mail for $126 when the manager told me it would only be $65 plus tax. So I called the store to figure out what happened and the manager called me a liar. So I decided to go to the store the next off day I had. Well today I went to the store and the manager refused to deal with me because I refused to wear a mask for medical reasons. Then after me telling him about the medical issues he still made me wear a mask. And didnāt help in anyway to fix any of the problems I had and called me a liar. And he refused to tell me how to get in touch with anyone over him. And for everyone wanting to do business with this store please wait until they have someone in management that is honest enough to tell you exactly what they are doing with your personal information. If I could give zero stars I would and hopefully they will get someone competent enough to do business the right and legal way!!! Hopefully someone will see this and get this problem...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnder new management, the old manager = ehh.. but the new one 10/10. The whole staff was very helpful in helping me select a plan and phones for my whole family. Worked with me every step of the way. Friendly, kind service in the likes of which I have not had anywhere in quite some time. Also, very professional atmosphere whilst also friendly and intimate. My two sales people and I connected on a personal level, almost as if Iād known him and her for years. Like talking to two old friends. The store itself was very clean down to the glass windows. In addition to all that, I was greeted and treated as a valued customer as soon as I walked in the door. As long as I live in Scottsboro, Alabama; this will be...
