I really don’t know what to say. Went back to the outlet again the same sales person Mark C. He took care of me. Again, if I can give a 10 stars I would do it all over again. Walked in the door and ask for Mark C within two minutes. He came over and was helping me immediately. I just can’t get over the professionalism, and the respect that you receive at the store. Then Gene came over because he noticed me and came over and said hello and shook my hand. I’ve been a manager and a business owner for 22 years. I wish I had guys like Mark and Gene working for me. Once again, the service by Mark and Gene was impeccable. I mean they run it like they own the company the way they are assertive and constantly working and continually the way to make the customer very happy and feel respected while shopping in the store. I’m really speechless about the customer service that was provided again to me by Mark C, and Gene they are truly sales professionals.They were very attentiveness just like my first experience’s dealing with Mark and Gene was really an unbelievable experience. They went to though ever detail from when the items would available and help me pick out my product, went on to explain when the order items would be picked, shipped and also went on to explain when the delivery and setup time would be done at my home. I promise when I say this, I really believe these guys must own part of the company because they run it like it’s their company and continue to run day it. These guys deserve a raise immediately. I must admit I did try to make a deal with getting the shipping off and set up for free. But business is business. Great great job fellas I hope you get something for all your hard work. they cannot control that end of the industry. I look forward to dealing with you again thank you so much Mike. You must check this place out Mark C was the salesperson and showed us all the furniture options. He was very knowledgeable about the all the products they offer and was never pushing about buying anything. This man was on the ball. If I could give 10 stars I would. Also, the sales manager Gene was great and even went out of his way and 3 hours later called us on the phone to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. I have never had a manger like Gene call to check on their customers. Not only did Gene call he just as nice and truthful as our salesman Mark C. It was pleasure to deal with Gene and his team and I would highly recommend going to see these guy before going to any other stores in the area I wish I could give 10 stars that’s how great Mark and Gene were. Must stop in and see these guys. It was a wonderful shopping experience with no pushy salesman. I will definitely go back and deal with Gene and his team (Mark C) again. Read moreIn purchasing an $1,100 Casper Original Hybrid Mattress at the Raymour & Flanagan Outlet in Scranton/Dickson City, I was steered by the sales rep to buy a $200 "universal" box spring to support the mattress. I subsequently learned through on-line research and phone conversations with two different Casper customer service reps that box springs don't provide adequate support for Casper mattresses (or any other modern foam or hybrid mattress, for that matter). What's best is a solid flat foundation or platform made with wooden slats spaced no more than 4 inches apart. Casper said the use of a box spring with their mattresses may void the manufacturer's 10-year limited warranty. And more significantly, a box spring may adversely impact the overall comfort level and durability of the mattress by inducing sagging over time. I spoke to the Raymour & Flanagan Outlet store's General Manager and he said the apparent contradiction between how his sales staff is selling the Raymour box spring and the mattress manufacturer's recommendation is a mere "difference of opinion." He said he suspects that Casper is merely trying to sell the particular foundation it manufactures. However, the GM also said the "universal" box spring that Raymour sells was custom created by Raymour especially for its line of Casper, Nectar and Purple brands of foam & hybrid mattress. Hence, Raymour also has a specific product it wants to sell you along with your new mattress -- namely, its $200 custom universal box spring. In this case, I decided to side in favor of the manufacturer's recommendation and canceled my purchase of the Raymour & Flanagan box spring. By buying directly on-line from Casper, I was able to bundle the new mattress with the recommended Casper foundation, a metal bed frame and a water-proof protective mattress cover for just $13 more than I would have paid Raymour & Flanagan for the same package of products that included its controversial box spring. For me, the peace of mind is well worth the additional few bucks. I am writing this review simply to advise other Raymour & Flanagan customers that a significant "difference of opinion" apparently exists when it comes to box springs vs solid flat wooden plank foundations for foam & hybrid mattresses. Do your own research before pairing a foam or hybrid mattress with a box spring, as it could potentially void the manufacturer's warranty & negatively impact the comfort and durability of your brand...
Read moreMy husband and I recently visited this store and we were waited on by a fine young man named Tyler Kleinbach. We are struggling a bit in life, but trying to save for some better living room furniture. I have some medical things going on, and better furniture would help. We were in the area and just stopped in to browse. We were able to walk around the store freely and not be bothered too much, but eventually Tyler came over and asked what we were looking for and sat with my husband for a while going over all our payment options. We both are working on our credit, so it was a bit embarrassing. We didn’t end up purchasing anything. We still have a bit of work to do on our credit. But I am leaving this review because of how Tyler treated us. Not once did he make either one of us feel uncomfortable. He was professional and kind. It made the embarrassing feeling go away, and it is the reason we will return to this location when we are able to buy. He is the type of person that you hope to interact with when you go in to any store shopping. And even though he is young, he seems to have an understanding that sometimes people go through hard things in life and they shouldn’t be judged. He also didn’t walk away and leave us after he probably realized we weren’t purchasing anything that evening. And I appreciated that the most. There were other customers in the store that he could have helped that I am sure had a better financial situation. And he stayed with us until we walked out of the store.
