I had this company out at my place in Sealy back at the beginning of August. Had an appointment scheduled with a time window of 2-4, got a call at 12:45 that the technician finished early so he was headed our way and would be there around 1:15 or so, which in turn made my wife have to rush back in from Katy while she was running errands.
From the start, the tech seemed like he had no idea what he was doing, nor did he want to be there doing the service call. He told my wife that it looked like we might have a Freon leak from one of the lines but he did not have the tool on his truck to take the cap off of the port to check with gauges so he had to go back to the shop to get said tool, 2 hours later he finally returns and said the Freon levels in the unit were fine, there was no leak. Recommended a coil cleaning and a leak detection additive to the Freon for $900, but we did not want to spend that money with this company since the tech seemed irritated to be there, so we politely declined.
Had another company come out today, and turns out the Condenser has a good size hole in it that was plugged with dirt, that the technician from BVS should have been able to diagnose, and is very actively leaking Freon. Tech said you could hear it escaping with the system under charge.
So since this other company came out, was very polite and kept me informed the entire step of the way, was on time to their appointment, and correctly diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. They are getting my $5,000 to replace the condenser instead of BVS.
I do not recommend using this company. You will be spending money to not have your matters...

Mine is easy and simple, BVS is a family owned business that has taken care of our home A/C and Heating for 20ish years. Have never met a bad employee in all that time. I'm assuming they pick the cream of the crop or have a super training program for all their people. From the people at the office that call and we call to schedule an appointment for them to come out and do regular maintenance on the equipment, to make sure it's running at top performance 24/7. It is a great company that says what they are going to do, and then even more important they do it. 5 Stars or A++ whatever the top scale is I give them that. I would recommend BVS to anyone who needs an A/C or Heating Equipment problems to give them a call.
