I would give zero stars if it would let me. I Ordered online the entire Emma collection: helmet, face mask, and backpack as my local store was out of stock of these items. I opened my package, which was is perfect shape, no areas that looked like the box had been damaged whatsoever. I received the helmet in this condition with scuffs all over it, peeling, and black marks. I contacted customer support via chat and was told I would receive a call within 24 hours. Call never came. Called two days after contacting customer support and spoke with a supervisor who stated I would have to return it to the store or via mail. I opted to return to my local store. He stated I would have to place a new order online and he would give me 25% off what the sale price was that I had bought it for for the inconvenience and having to take it to the store. I was appreciative that they were gong to make it right. After purchasing online while I was on the phone with him and gave him the new order number so he could adjust the price, he stated that he was now only able to give me 20% off after he already stated I would receive 25% off. He then stated he didnāt say that because he could only give 20% off. It was absolutely crooked to tell me one thing so I would re buy the helmet then after I did change the discount stated to me. I would have been more than happy with the 20% off but he had told me 25%. I was very upset that I was lied too and he said there was nothing he could do about it. After I finished speaking with him, I took the damaged helmet to my local store to return it. The manager laughed and joked with his two employees about the scuffs and stated, put the original price on it and someone will buy it, they are just going to get scuffed anyways. It was silly to return it for that. I felt very insulted by this. I understand that it is going to get scuffed and banged up, but the point was that I bought a brand new helmet and I received a helmet that was severely scuffed in areas and it was brand new. I should not have received the product in that condition. I felt belittled and humiliated by the manager. Overall this was a horrible experience. There were two other Hibbett associates behind the counter. My son and I were the only customers in the store. We went over to the shoes, to get him some sneakers for basketball. They had all the latest Nikes and as my son was taking the shoes off the wall to look at the different options when we were approached by the only male associate working that day. I thought he was coming over to greet us and ask if there is a size he could get for my son. Instead he came over and reprimanded my son for not putting the shoes back up on the wall in the ācorrectā direction. I did not appreciate that and found it rude and unnecessary. He could have simply turned the three different shoes on the wall back which ever direction he preferred after we left. Initially it made me want to leave. Nonetheless my son requested the size shoe for the sneakers he wanted, we bought the shoes and then left. No one greeted me when I walked in and all three employees were leaned against the cash register behind the counter. No one ever came to ask did I need help. I walked from the men's section across the room to the women's section with the employees still in their behind the counter same position. It wasn't until I turned around and asked were they helping anyone today that one finally came from behind the counter to help.
