Taco Bell — Restaurant in Searcy

I don't go in so can't speak for the inside but I have to give five stars just because of one employee. She has worked there for some time now and I swear I can be in the worst mood (imagine one of those days where you wake up late, somehow hit every pothole, gum on your shoe, kids in backseat acting more like arch enemies than siblings, your night to cook, etc) and this woman still makes me cheer up somehow! Her name is Deana and she's about as sweet as can be, always so darn upbeat and happy even my kids stop bickering long enough to comment! We just stopped in for a quick snack & those frozen strawberry Skittles drinks for the kids since it was hot. The machine was broken so she apologized profusely when I ordered and it did take a few minutes until our turn at the window. We get to the window & she had strawberry frozen drinks waiting!!! I think she heard my kids' disappointment and myself telling them we could grab frozen drinks somewhere else after getting our food...so she personally went and fiddled with the machine until it decided to work. She was even STILL apologizing while handing me two drinks for the kiddos and refused to let me pay for them! I know they were only $1 each but I kept insisting she add them to my total and she wouldn't hear of it, she just kept apologizing for the inconvenience. What inconvenience?!!...She made drinks herself and then wouldn't let me pay for them and was still acting like we were put out somehow! I wish this was a place where you could tip and I intend to call management and find out for sure as I've heard employees cannot accept tips but she deserves something special for being so nice EVERY SINGLE TIME! Taco Bell isn't the healthiest choice and I've never been to one I'd consider speedy with their service but I'm literally smiling as I write this review despite our wait and I swear my days of saying "pick somewhere else to eat that's faster" are 100% over! Taco Bell should make sure they keep this lady and though I have no clue what she makes I still think they'd be smart to give her a raise (or three)! How many people, I wonder, are like me and have started coming back frequently just because of the super nice service? Employees like her are who bring people back again and again, more so than any fancy marketing or promotions I bet. If you've read my reviews I'm sure you'll notice I'm HUGE on the quality of service and Ms Deana is a 10 out of 10 for sure! I included a pic of our reciept because she even puts a smiley face by her name! I wasn't even that upbeat as a little girl so it astounds me for another grown person to be so chipper she can't even write her name without some of her happy spilling over into a smiley face! Thank you again Ms Deana from the kiddos and from myself because we went from the "I'll turn this car around if..." to talking about how a simple kindness and a positive attitude can make a day better, talked about it the whole way home! (Well, paused once for the 3 year old to get over her brain freeze from drinking her frozen drink...

We are truly doomed as a nation . This is not meant to be a political rant about the crazy left / liberals / snowflakes , anyway I had one of the most embarrassing experience in this taco bell. I was greeted by the manager in the cash register when he/she ask me for my name . I have one of this names that you can give a boy or a girl but I am originally from israel so you just pronounce my name a little different. anyway I don't really care how you pronounced my name but this manager decided for me that it will offend me if when my food is ready that my name will be pronounced correctly. Like I give a dam . He loudly yelled my name 3 time to the kitchen staff who where making my food making sure they call me my real name when my food is ready. The entire restaurant had to hear this . And then he told me that it's important to call me my real name and that it's like if they called him or her a she just because she dosent identify herself as a man or woman. I was in shock to what and what happened to our kids this days ...what a crazy society. A bunch of over sensitive cry babies snowflakes. I will never come to this place again . I don't identify myself as democratic or replication but now I understand the American people who voted for Trump ....I don't know if this can be fixed I'm my lifetime. Service was great as always which is why I'm giving this a star at all. I ordered a Mexican pizza. I understand everything is going up in price but because a Mexican pizza used to be closer to 3 dollars and is now closer to 6, it is a treat for me to get it. I choose wisely which times to splurge on it, this was an unwise time apparently. I got my Mexican pizza, excited, tried the new strawberries and creme freeze which was so good. Took a bite of my pizza and got nothing but burnt tasting wet grease dripping all over my face and hands. No, working fast food previously doesn't make me an expert but I can tell you right now it tasted like that because someone hasn't changed the grease in at least a week. For those of you who don't work fast food, that means all the bits and crumbs that have fallen off of anything in the past week is still in there getting cooked with the rest of your food leaving you to taste...
