I used to be a regular customer here for the past 3 years with no complaints, but my recent experiences have been horrid.
I called day before at 6:30 to ask if she can take me if i get there in the next 15 minutes and the lady said no, she starts closing at 6:45.
Next day, i reached there by 6:30. I was standing outside their salon for the next 20 minutes in the cold where she refused to pick up my multiple calls, let me into the building or even acknowledge my presence. I tried knocking at their glass window but no response. And when the lady came out at 6:50 she rudely said that I’m lying about getting there 20 minutes before and she didn’t see me and that it is closed now and left. At the very least she could have picked my calls and let me know that I don’t waste my time standing there.
The new lady is not good at threading either, I only went here for convenience. I would recommend avoiding this...

The place is clean. There was only one person working, and there were at least 3 customers. I’m used to going places where there’s multiple employees available to work on customers.
The wax was quick, but it was more painful than other places I’ve been. It felt like she was just trying to hurry up and finish me, to move on to the other customers. She also left several stray hairs behind that I didn’t realize until I got home and really looked close. My regular wax person would have NEVER let me leave the shop with that many stray hairs.
I feel like she should have been more thorough and ensured she got as many of the hairs as possible. Overall, it was sufficient for what I needed it for (a last minute wax). But I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place if someone was asking for a good place to get...
Read moreI am writing to address an issue I experienced during my recent visit to Shanthi Salon at Terry Avenue in Seattle downtown. I had purchased a package for three sessions, but I only used two of them (in Aug 2022 and Apr 1st 2023). However, when I spoke with the salon representative, they informed me that I had used all three sessions, including one in January, which I did not use.
Furthermore, the representative I spoke with was very rude and unprofessional during our conversation. I was shocked and disappointed by the way they spoke to me.
I am hoping to clarify this issue and receive a refund or credit for the unused session.
