The best part about this place is their cups. We were visiting Seattle and saw the cute designs so we had to stop in. We were sightseeing so we placed an online order and headed that way to pick it up based on the time frame on our order. Upon arriving, our drinks had not been made so we waited behind a group of people near the counter b/c there was nowhere else to stand. After about 15 minutes of not hearing my name called for my order and others that had ordered after we’d arrived received their drinks, I asked the employee if my order was ready (3 drinks and 2 raindrop cakes). She rudely replied and asked my name and then stormed to the back. Our order was brought out a few minutes later (after approximately 50 minutes had passed from order time to receipt) and the employee just sat the order on the counter and returned to the back. My daughters and I gathered everything and realized she didn’t provide straws for us for the drinks nor a bag or anything for the rainbow cakes just a stack of plastic containers with 2 spoons on top. I waited until another employee came from the back to ask for straws. We ate the rainbow cakes at one of their outdoor tables while standing because there wasn’t seating available and took the drinks as we walked. Before we were back to our hotel the lettering and part of the corgi on one of the the cups had already rubbed off. Bottom Line. Spend your money elsewhere. An acknowledgment of the time it took and/or an apology would have gone a long way and probably would have resulted in a 5 star review because it would have shown they cared about their customer service. With all the options nowadays, customer service is everything and unfortunately the service at The Moo Bar in Seattle is not worth the cuteness, novelty, and subpar printing...
Read moreI've been staying in Seattle for medical treatment and was craving some awesome bubble tea. I looked this place up on Google and I gotta say the determining factor was the giant bubble tea squishmallow they had behind the counter! I had to have it! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to find that they also have the cutest little niche selling point - all their drinks come in a mason jar with a top and a design on it. They can give you the one they've chosen that day to be a "special" if you will; or for $10 you can choose your own style and design. And let me tell you, the available choices are ADORABLE 😍 I was further impressed with my barista, he had a great attitude and made on the spot recommendations when asked. Not only that he was just soooo nice and seemed like he really loved his job and wanted to be there. The only downfall for me was the $5.50 I paid for a birthday cake waffle that was just really boring and bland. I also was not crazy about the bubble tea I got (creme brulee something) but that's okay. I would give these people chance after chance to impress me with their drinks simply because I was so impressed with the service this first time around. I left happy with my giant stuffed boba tea and my cute like Shiba Inu kawaii character mason jar with the biggest smile on my face...I must have looked so dumb considering I'm 34 years old...but really a fun stuffy can make all the difference to someone needing a little comfort from receiving long term medical treatment that is just a drag. Thank you moo bar for lighting up an otherwise...
Read moreI have a few good points and a few bads points unfortunately.
The Good: We arrived 20 minutes before closing and they helped us select cups, explained any confusion that we had and were patient as we picked cups and drinks.
The tea was good, great flavors and it was made quickly.
The Bad: Although the cups are cute, the glass jars and lids are leaky. You can't choose unless you pay for the specific cup and you get a random jar if you pay full price. Not terrible but, it was unexpected.
We ordered a Brown sugar milk tea with extra boba but, didn't get the extra boba.
Here comes the really bad. I ordered the Thai horchata, the lid was on wrong and leaked out on my hands. I was about 3 or 4 sips into my tea and chewing on my crystal boba when I felt a crunch. I pulled the crunchy bit out and it was a sharp small piece of Glass. I promptly poured out my drink, walked back and the staff let me in. I expressed that I had a piece of glass in my drink and asked how'd they would want to handle it. I didn't want another drink or glass so I had them clean the glass, check it for chips and cracks and the glass was not from my jar so I kept it and was issued a refund of $12. After walking back to my group, I had everyone check their glasses and my wife's glass was cracked as well.
Out of 4 drinks, one was Incorrect, one was correct and 2 had glass In it or the glass was cracked.
I'm afraid that at this point I will be holding off visiting. Next time I do visit I'll have them check the glasses and wash them out before hand to insure there are...
