I used this barber shop on 2 separate occasions and was unhappy each time.. On both occasions, I was cut by Frank himself.
During my first visit, I told him what I wanted but he he argued that it was a bad idea. I am ok with a barber making recommendations, however, this felt pushy and aggressive as he continued to insist after I declined. As you can imagine, I was already uncomfortable.
Additionally, he was constantly distracted during the haircut, taking calls, taking with others and even stopping to do other things in the shop.
The second time I decided to give him a try again as it was just after Seattle started opening up since the start of Covid-19. He quoted a different price that was $10 more claiming it was a covid fee. He also quoted the price I paid him during my initial hair cut as $5.00 more and insisted I was wrong. Consequently, I paid $15.00 more for the same haircut.
During the haiir cut he continued with the same distracting activities as my first visit. He eventually CUT MY EAR WITH A RAZOR. THERE WAS NON-STOP BLEEDING AND HE COULD NOT STOP THE BLEEDING. AFTER SAYING SORRY, HE BLAMED ME FOR HIM LACERATING MY EAR.
When I pointed out to him that he was not focused during the haircut, he became offensive.
I would NEVER use the place again.I have lived in Wisconsin, NY, and FL, however, this has been my worse experience at a barbershop. My opinion of Frank as a barber is that he is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not think he is a...
Read moreWARNING By looking at the pictures, you may agree with my opinion that Frank does not know how to cut hair.
For Google employees… Although I paid in cash, I asked a receipt so that I could prove that it was Frank, who cut my hair in the event this review is reported as not true.
Frank cut my hair on Monday, March 6th, and I asked him to cut as minimum as possible the length of my hair and the same height all around. However, he cut the sides (below the ears) short and the back he left longer. When I reminded him what I had asked him to do, he told me that he was not done yet. Then, just look at the pictures to see what he did afterwards.
When I started crying for what he had done to my hair, he told me that he was a barber. Then, I asked him why he did not tell me that he was only a barber before he cut my hair. His answer was that he did the best he could. Frank told me several times in different ways, the hair cut he did was the best he could do it.
In my opinion, Frank’s hair cut was the worse hair cut I have ever had in my...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with Latae Mitchell at Sanctified Salon, located inside Frank’s Barber and Beauty. I booked an appointment through Booksy for my 6-year-old daughter and paid a deposit. About an hour later, Latae contacted me to say the times on Booksy were incorrect and rescheduled us for Saturday at 1 PM.
The morning of the appointment, I texted her to confirm the address—no response. I still showed up on time, paid for parking, and waited, but Latae never showed up. I called her twice and followed up with texts, but she never answered, returned my call, or responded.
Everyone else at the salon was friendly and professional, but unfortunately, Latae was the complete opposite—disorganized, unprofessional, and unresponsive. I wasted time, gas, and money on this experience. I do not recommend her...
