Food was 2.5 stars. Giving a 1 star rating as the server/owner was rude to us. We first approached saying to him that 'We've heard good things about your food' in a friendly manner, while at the Psychic Salamander festival on Sept 14. Server was passive aggressive with us. I asked for no puffed rice and he responded 'what's the magic word?', and then proceeded to serve the dish with puffed rice 1 minute later. Its unlikely he would of forgetten my request. There were other questionable remarks from the cook that left us feeling poorly about the experience, like when we asked for forks and he said you need to eat it with your hands. We should talk more about this food. Why is this food not given to me every day. I have no description for the flavor other than life changing. I took one bite and suddenly I felt the light of hope descend upon me. A second bite and I was reevaluating my major—i need to make more money so I can afford to buy this every day.
