So today I tried to go and pick up my package that I was made aware of by the UPS sticker that was on my mailbox. I was a bit confused by it because it had my mom's last name on it rather than mine. Anyways, I go in to the store and I show the guy there the sticker and tell him I have a package here. I kind of was just rambling, but I was trying to ask him what the correct address they were trying to deliver it it too because it didn't show it on the sticker. He didn't seem like he understood, so I tried to explain it again and figure out if they were sending it to the correct address. He seems to get mad and starts talking down to me, asking me who I was talking to and why I was asking him how he got my address, saying this is a grocery store, saying he didnt have my address. I tried to explain he misunderstood, and I simply just wanted to make sure the package was coming to the right place because the last name was different. The guy goes off and starts yelling, he's cutting me off as I'm trying to explain what I was simply trying to say, and just continues yelling at me. I obviously start to get upset and I ask him if that's how he treats people, he kept referencing "what is it with you people" so I got a bit of a racist vibe from him. I walked out the store, said a few curse words and said he should learn to listen clearly and treat ppl better. Then tried to call and ask him why he was yelling at me in the first place for asking a basic question and trying to pick up a package that is for me. He Screams at me on the phone and tells me that I'm harassing him and he's going to call the police on me, I tell him that it's kind of against the law to hold someone's mail from them so if he wants to call the police I'll do it for him. He then says that I was never there, and that my package never came, and that I'm harassing him and I better not come into his store. Obviously I call UPS and make a complaint, and doing so I figured out what why they use my mother's last name said of mine. I just don't get how people get away with treating people like this, over a misunderstanding. I wasn't attacking him in any way, I wasn't being rude, I was simply just trying to ask a question. Horrible service. And I don't think that should be the type of guy holding mail for people if he can't provide simple customer service and use active listening when someone's trying to ask a simple question. Even if he doesnt work specifically for UPS and didnt know what i was asking, he could have simply just said...

In the 1960's I used to run to this corner store with my nickel to buy bubble gum and sometimes red licorice. My grandmother lived just a few houses down the street and my auntie lived around the corner. Sometimes we were sent here to get milk and a Jet magazine for the grownups. Being entrusted with this solemn responsibility was my first experience of being independent. The store is the only thing left on the block from that time that I recognize, I am glad that it...

This is the nicest local store for a quick stop to go to if you need something to munch on. I go here everyday and the owner is always very nice. It's small and it doesn't carry much. But I thought tobacco glass pipes were very cheap price too getting me...
