Prices are a little high, trade-in is a little low. However it is a brick and mortar shop in Seattle and they need to pay bills so it makes sense.
Lots of events here every week, I have never been to one but I see them posted online or they have been going on sometimes when I go in there. Big open table area for all of that so that is nice.
Staff is always helpful but it can be busy in there. You may need to ask for their attention. I have never had to because I like looking around at what they got so I just wait until someone asks if I need anything.
Occasionally you can find really good deals. I think its rare but it does happen. I recommend checking out damaged cards you may be interested in. Sometimes they are in better condition than damaged.
They also have a SMALL selection of binders and card sleeves. Again, there is some markup on them compared to what you would find online, but by buying here you are supporting a local business that I feel is very passionate about not just the TCG Community, but the Seattle community as well.

Read moreTabletop village is the toast of Pokemon oriented stores.
I’ve visited four times and have competed at their store. The store is welcoming, has great staff and great people walk through the door.
Every time I’ve been in the store I’ve been helped by the handsome Cameron and the funny Derek who help me decide on what cards to buy for my decks.
I’ve also had the opportunity to attend their potlucks rewarding their players for achievements in the game. I believe their last pot luck celebrated a kids regional win as well as having the oldest competitor at day 2 of the European championship.
The store is huge and has a variety of supplies. I see so many people complain about sealed product pricing but all the pricing has been market rate every time I’ve gone. It seems it’s upset people who don’t support the stores complaining.
The owners Brian and Adelaide are always there to provide advice on local food spots and really show how great their community is. They also support diverse communities with all-gender bathrooms and a poke flag made of all the energies.

Read moreI like this place. Clean and tucked away in a calm part of the International District. Been getting back into pokemon lately and brought a few boxes over the last few weeks because I rather support my LCS than online retailers. Most of the staff is great but it seems the older husky caucasian guy with glasses and a beard always ignores me when I come by myself, but when Im with the fiance its a different story. Like today, Im by myself waiting behind the counter as he helps two people out. Once he is done, picks up a phone call and walks off. No "hey ill be right with you" or what not. So I wait 5 mins and walk out since he never comes by the booster boxes again. And what irks me the most is that I said hello while I was waiting looking at the cards in the case and the costumer he was helping replys but Im invisible to the guy.
Edit:4/20/23 Thank you for the reply Brian. It was around 5:25-ish pm 4/19/23.
Edit:4/24/23 Hey no worries Brian. I came in the other day and brought some boxes of scarlet/violet. I appreciate your help and I thought dude had a grudge against me but I'm glad that...
