Dr Ren did not listen. I had multiple injections in my low back, my symptoms kept getting worse. I had to really advocate to get a referral to a Spine Specialist because she kept telling me my back “just wasn’t that bad.” My MRI had a flag on it that the radiologist thought something might be wrong in an area just outside the focus area…. Dr Ren insisted I was “too young for neuropathy” and misdiagnosed me with plantar fasciitis without doing a physical exam. Meanwhile I was losing my ability to walk. Once I finally saw a spine specialist, he followed up on the note on my MRI and got imaging of my thoracic back. I ended up needing emergency surgery. Dr. Ren did not listen, she kept telling me I was fine when I knew I wasn’t. She did not take good notes when she did give the shots. Her team was nice but did not remember the challenges I had from one session to another. One instance I was supposed to get two shots but nearly passed out so they only did one, however all the notes in my chart still indicate I was given two.
