I absolutely refuse to go anywhere else for tattoos or piercings. John and Dawn have the best shop I've ever been to, and I've been to many shops. They are not only clean and precise and willing to work to give you exactly what you want, anything they add to the designs have always been for the better. They also have Shi in the shop and she is such a blessing. She did all of my sisters memorial sister tattoos last minute when we had a death in the family, she was so accommodating and incredibly fun. John gave my daughter her first tattoo, and now even though she's off in college, if she wants a new tattoo she waits until she comes home because she knows Stillwater is the only place to go to. I can't say enough about them and I'm hesitant to review places in detail, unless it's something important enough that I feel people should know...

The shop is clean and friendly. It was my 1st time there and I really enjoyed my experience. Got matching tattoos with my sisters but unfortunately all of ours, the scabs pulled most of the ink right out. I've never had a disappearing tat before so maybe it was that the artist didn't go deep enough. She did mention she technically is an apprentice still... while on the 3rd tat. Still, even though every tat is messed up and nearly gone, she offers free touch ups as any artist worth anything should. Too bad I live across the country and will have to pay for mine to be done right... We got these after a funeral I was in town for. Not a bad shop, just think we got an inexperienced artist. I highly recommend Stillwater Expressions if you are in need of a great tattoo artist. I have had all three of my tattoos done here. From my first experience, I felt that the environment was very clean and inviting. Everyone on staff were so kind and patient with all of my questions, and I felt prepared for getting the tattoo as well as for after care.

John not only spent time custom designing the big piece, but he put up with me adjusting the template size several times, and he also spent a lot of extra time stippling a tattoo for me as a last minute design change. I needed very little touch up. I couldn't possibly be happier with how they turned out, which makes me so happy because each one of these pieces mean...
