I love treasure hunting at thrift stores and this one is no exception. I found all sorts of random and cool things. For those complaining about prices, admittedly I have thought some things are over priced as well, but you see, Goodwill does this really cool thing. Every price tag that they put on an item is color coded and each week a different color is marked down. Say I'm eyeballing that sweet used Chia pet but I don't want to pay the $10 the green tag is asking for. I can just wait. I can even check the website to see when the green tag items will go on sale. It will start at 30% off, then 50%, and then just $1.99! If that is still too much, go cruise Dollar Tree. However if someone comes along who happens to be a big time Chia Connoisseur and feels $10 is a deal, then they get it. Goodwill is a not-for-profit The more money they make the more money that goes back into the community- none of the employees are rolling around in your dollars after they close. The pricing is also set up so items will be purchased and open up space to bring new donations in, and in doing so the price eventually drops $1.99 and makes items accessible for...

The cashier asked me, "Did you find everything you wanted?" to which I replied "well no I was looking for a specific one" then she says "did you look at all of them" as she was ringing me up and I told her "yes". Once paid, i opened them all to find out every single one of them was empty. She then says "I asked if you looked at them" which in our conversation she should have specified what she meant. Then as I am getting my refund from the transaction that was done less than 2 mins ago I asked the gal why the cashier does not check to make sure, she said they do but my cashier did not. So because they didn't actually do their job I had to walk out with a "gift card" because all sales are final, if I knew they were empty and the cashier did their job the sale would have never happened. I should have gotten my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst customer service ever for a thrift shop, care less about high prices items. Customer service by Shane is horrible went up to the registers to pay and she asked with an attitude if I had any hangers for her since I took the donated clothes off the hangers to make their JOB easier on them then she goes on saying" next time bring them with you." Then she leaves the register after checking out while I was waiting on my friend to check out she comes around the corner and slams some pieces of clothing with hangers on them and this other nice employees states "Shane is in a bad mood today " Shane being sarcastic just said bye to the the other gal as she was leaving the register so unprofessional. Well let me tell you... I work as a retail manager and I do not request empty hangers from my customers as organizing aisles comes with a retail job description as well...
