Laundry Basket — Local services in Sellersburg

My boyfriend and I travel across the country and do laundry in many places. I just wanted to take the time to tell this community how lucky you are to have a laundry facility such as this in your town.

This place was very clean, in comparison to all of the others we've seen. The machines are SUPER NICE and very modern. There is small washers (20lbs)up to ENORMOUS ONES (90lbs) and MAN are they FAST. The dryers don't need as much money in them as the washers literally extracted MUCH of the water from the clothes. You can use your credit card OR quarters. This, alone, makes this place a great place to do laundry as I often feel confused as to what I need when I go into a laundromat.

The only things I would like to say to the owners, other than GREAT JOB, is you REALLY need a neon open sign. We nearly drove by because there were no cars and it was the time of day when you couldn't tell if the lights were on inside or it was just closed down. As I was sitting here contimplating writing a review saying it needs a sign, someone else drove up, and was confused if it was even open. So I wonder how much business you might be losing due to people wondering. Also, a cold drink machine would be a very nice touch as it is super HOT while folding clothes from the dryer. It would make extra money for you as well as keep your patrons from heat stroke. ((((An after thought... RIGHT after I got done saying that and going back in, from my break, to fold clothes the air conditioner kicked on and was blowing RIGHT at where we were by the dryers. Freaking AWESOME. NEVER have I been in a laundromat where they planned the air flow like that.))))

All in all... EXCELLENT laundry facility. I'd give it an A+ on the Rikki Recommends rating scale. Kudos...

I really don't want to be a Karen but this is ridiculous. 1:) the washers and dryers are disgusting. I've been a customer here on and off for 4+ years and the quality and cleanliness has just gone downhill. For the price we pay we should be able to have clean utilities. I will be finding a new laundromat. 2.) The last 3 times I have been here, multiple dryers have been broken and not labeled as such, so I've used them. First time I chucked it up to bad luck. The second time I thought it was my fault. But the third time just makes me angry because I've used different dryers each time. (And yes I made sure I pressed the hot setting) I've tried to call and no answer. I've wasted at least 16+ dollars here trying to dry my clothes. I want my money back. I will keep calling. Literally all they had to do is label the broken machines. $16 might not seem like a lot but it is to me. Plus,my hourish long trip turns into a 2 hour long trip. Its...

Equipment 103B drawer is broken and no possible way of even getting refunds because number given on site doesn’t even answer and don’t have a voicemail box set up to leave messages. Would be helpful to have instructions or someone to actually reach out to in case of problems like these. Also washers charged double when using credit card and no where does it explain that it would do that. So it would be nice if owner could be reached and instructions someone in laundry mat that explain all of this!!!!
