The store was filthy... It was Christmas Eve so that might have been the reason. But this was the dirtiest store I’ve ever been in my life. I’m not exaggerating when I say this. It looked dark, abandoned and ransacked. I was offended by the way I was racially profiled. The audacity of having time to racially profile me but no time to clean the filth. I bought a gold chain that I wasn’t able to look at nor touch. I did a return immediately due to how badly I was treated. I was told that I needed to give the clerk my I.D. so that she could scan it and after I finishes looking at the jewelry I could get my I.D. back. I declined because I didn’t feel comfortable. Because I declined to give the cashier my i.d. to scan I could only look at the necklace 3 feet away. I bought the necklace but immediately returned it. I didn’t feel comfortable paying $300 for something I couldn’t examine. While my back was turned and was looking at the chain my basket was taken away. Yesterday one lady said to the other, so we could obviously hear cause they weren't talking to us, "only do layaways and jewelry, no clothes" I found very this rude cause like I mentioned, a few days ago we were charged out for both. Thought the whole thing was to convenience the person buying not the employees! Lazy is what I call it. Get more people who want to help and who are quick at helping! Read moreI don't know why Jessie Penny's service level went down because of this branch. The female employees there suffer from mental illness. I remained standing and waiting for a room to open for me to try on clothes for me and 3 other customers. The employee refused, and one of the customers asked to use the bathroom with her little girl. She also refused, so I left all the clothes I had on. She chose it and left. I am sure they are suffering from a psychological illness. I hope you hire nice, helpful female employees who are much more than that so that you do not lose your customers because of those lazy women, because the clothes are here and there and on the floor...
