I had been traveling from Fresno (my boyfriend was in the hospital, so I was coming back from visiting him) to Hanford. I had a long day, so I was hungry and decided to use my free Whopper that I was to receive from doing the online survey. So I saw a Burger King located off of Hwy 99 in a town called Selma that I was traveling thru to my destination. This was my first time at this location. I showed the girl who was taking my order my surveyed receipt with the code and my order was placed. For the amount I paid, I then thought to myself, did I even receive a free Whopper which it didn't show that on the receipt after reviewing it. So I asked another staff member who was at the counter if she could explain to me where it showed on my new receipt where I received the free Whopper. She stated she would go get her manager/supervisor to come explain it to me. I waited & waited. I then saw the girl who was to go get her manager/supervisor and I asked her which was her manager/supervisor and it was the same girl who took my order. So I stood there waiting, watching her in the back prep area as she kept preparing food items. I could hear her stating out loud that it was ridiculous I was wanting an explanation when she is busy. WHAT!!!! I thought to myself, this girl is rude but I kept my cool after hearing what she was saying. Then she decided to finally come up to the counter to see what I wanted and I said, girly I just want to be shown where it shows on the receipt you handed me that I received a free Whopper? Hastily, with an attitude, she states, showing me with her finger where it says Guest Trac Whopper she enters the code in the register and what it puts down on the receipt. Then with her hands up like shes done explaining and says, you need to take up with corporate any other questions or complaints; then she starts to walk back to the prep area to continue her job. I thanked her for explaining, but when I heard her continue to be rude, talking out loud about how ridiculous I was as she mumbled other things that I couldn't quite hear. I was given my bag of food and I thought WTH IS THIS GIRLS PROBLEM if she is the manager/supervisor on duty she is very rude & treating ME a customer like I was causing a BIG problem for her by just asking a question regarding a free item I was to be given and just wanted to be shown where it shows that on the receipt. So I stopped before walking out the door to ask the counter staff what her managers/supervisors name is, who just spoke with me; (cuz I was definitely gonna call corporate to complain about the customer service I received (attitude & rudeness)) the girl then spoke in a low tone looking to the back prep area where the manager/supervisor was standing I thought she said Autumn (motioning that I wanted her name) she acted shady like she didn't want to tell me the managers/supervisors name so I said girly did you say her name is Autumn? The girl looked at me, not saying anything, so I then said aloud, (as I walked over) looking at the "manager/supervisor," and said girly, "What's your name?" Again, rude with an attitude she said to me, "she just told you my name & I then said, it's Autumn? She stated again rudely "she just told you my name"! I thanked her & walked out the door. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! YOU NEED A BETTER MANAGER/SUPERVISOR WHO HAS A BETTER ATTITUDE WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS/PUBLIC IN GENERAL! I understand people have bad days or are under pressure for whatever reason but you as a manager/supervisor or even the rest of the staff still needs to have great customer service skills when dealing with the public. Get a better attitude "Autumn" if that's really your name! Corporate will be...
Read moreHorrible experience. Usually go and order a couple times a week to decent service and good food. This morning for some reason the lady who took the order decided that she was going to ring us up for the cheaper alternatives of the food I normally buy(I order the exact same thing every time) which was 4 dollars cheaper than normal. So she was sled to read the order back and she read it back correctly. When we received the order however the receipt was wrong as was the order. When asked to correct the order they said they would not unless we could provide a receipt for an order we placed another day for what we were claiming to have ordered as if that would some how help the situation. Then when asked for a refund the manager said she would only refund half of the order. Then she attempted to keep my debit card from me. I then demanded a full refund and they agreed to refund me but would not return my debit card until I had signed a receipt. Terrible management all the way around. Horrible attitudes. The manager instead of holding the cashier accountable for what she did defended her and treated customers terribly. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! 0 star if possible. Would rather drive 20 miles to a different burger King. They are going to try to keep the wrong person's card and money one day. They...
Read moreWhat a disappointing experience. I visited this Burger King on a Monday at 1:20 in the afternoon. I went inside and waited behind one other customer more than 5 minutes to order a Whopper Jr combo. There was only one person working the counter and she was also putting together orders for the drive thru. Clearly whoever makes the schedule has no idea how many people want to eat after 1pm. When I went to get my drink, I could get ice out of the machine. I asked the overworked woman behind the counter and was told "we ran out of ice." Huh? No ice? How can a Burger King run out of ice at 1pm on a Monday? And, why wasn't I told there wasn't any ice when I placed my order? It's such a simple thing, if you are selling "cold drinks" someone should make sure the ice machine is turned on OR get some ice from somewhere so you can give your customers what they expect. My Whopper Jr was tasteless and sloppily assembled along with the gummy onion rings I got. I highly recommend going to ANY of the other fast food places nearby. This place is one disappointment...
