Our first experience with them was great. They got problems fixed right away and they were very nice and easy to deal with. After about a year of living in our house things started to change. We asked multiple times for things to be fixed around the house. We were told the owner of the house wasn't wanting to fix things and that after we moved out they weren't going to work with the home owner anymore. We were given a list of things to do when we moved out. Which were completed or at least 98%. Also finding out that the wood stove we had been using for the two years we lived there had been condemned a year prier to us moving in. Which he did not tell us! HOW SAFE IS THAT!!! We worked our butts off and cleaned that house to make it shine. Knowing full well there were things we didn't do so we knew we were going to get deducted a little bit for those things. Also for the carpet cleaning which we were told we would lose that money anyways and to not get them cleaned. We should not have listened to them. We were completely shocked when we received our deposit back because we lost over half of it. We told them we had a professional company appraise the carpet cleaning for less then 200 dollars it could be done. They charged us over 400 dollars. He said he had to have the best. (OF COURSE NOT HIS MONEY) On top of another 120 for bull crap cleaning charges when he told me flat out the house wasn't bad at all. So for those of you interested in renting threw them be forewarned... They are nice and personable to your face but the minute they can they will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGranted you have gotten several āpossibleā tenants to give you good reviews, or some of these could be friends, family even agents. Regardless, these people are not honest. They connive, lie, take money not due them, make people think they stand a chance and then decide based on appearance, race, etc. that you simply were not the first to fill out an application when you know you were. Also, regarding service animals. A few people have tricked them by not mentioning their service animals straight away and being told there were no problems with their credit, background and all seems a go...then Fido is mentioned, as is the fact he is a service or emotional support animal trained and well behaved and even prescribed by a licensed professional, and all of a sudden the house is already rented. The owner hates animals and appears to be a racist also. And there isnāt a person in the area looking for rentals who doesnāt notice the same thing. A lawsuit will very soon be knocking on this whole groups door. Mark my words. Anyone else reading this who has had the same experience, please leave a review about your experience, because there is no room in this area or any other area for people like this. I read these reviews often, so I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe owned a second home in Sequim for 18 years, hoping to retire there and renting it out in the meantime. We were lucky enough to find Action Property and the Schubert family to manage it. Never having been landlords, we didn't even know what we didn't know! The Schuberts educated us. Most valuable to us was their excellent vetting of potential renters, which saved us many heartaches as out of state owners. We always got fast, accurate information and service on our property. For example when a storm once brought down a tree, we were informed right away, photos were sent so we could work with our insurance co. and their local contractor cut it up and hauled it away promptly. Our monthly statements were prompt and easy for us and our CPA to read at tax time. Even when we told Jesse that family circumstances were causing us to sell, he went out of his way to work hand in hand with us and our realtor to prepare our property to show at its best. Action Property has repeatedly demonstrated integrity, honesty and reliability. They have truly gone above and beyond the entire time we have done business with them. We highly recommend that anyone renting in Sequim use them to find a rental or to manage...
